I think he doesn't report to prison till July? Imo he shoulda been "escorted" snick right after sentencing.

The former Trump adviser was sentenced to four months in prison for refusing to comply with Jan. 6 Committee subpoenas, but it had been put on hold while he appealed.

It would be great if someone had the time to compile all the names of Trump cronies that have served jail time, and their length of stay.

Maybe a MAGA supporter will volunteer.

I wonder what Hunter Biden or Merrick Garland will get for ignoring their congressional subpoenas?

Since you're so up on this bullshit I am surprised you don't already know all the details.

Whataboutism alive and well.

Steve Bannon received a pardon from big man Trump. And he still couldn't manage to stay out of jail. He was Trump's chief strategist.

And his trial on charges of money laundering, conspiracy, and scheming to defraud is yet to start.

Still think this is BS ? Still think other individuals that have nothing to do with Steve Bannon need to be wondered about in this thread ?

One that did it right was GGordon Liddy.

He did the whole stint in Federal Prison, no parole. He refused it.

That way, when he got out, he had served his debt to society and was free to tell Judge Sirica to go straight to hell.

Bannon is not one of my favorite people. The country would be better off if he'd never been born. That said, four months sounds awfully stiff to me for refusing to testify in front of a Congressional Committee. Yes, the January 6 Committee did dig up some worthwhile information. However, most committees exist for the purpose of allowing politicians to grandstand.

I guess the four months is government's way of showing when you don't do what the Man says, the Man will fuck you.

Excellent point. If it's a Washington D.C. court that determines that, they won't get any time.

So in other words Bannon is doing four months in a Federal pen for not falling for some stupid bullshit.
