The problem seems to exist with the majority of voters at the current point in time. Subject to change.

again - there is only one "poll" that matters.

Nov 2020,

I hope all the polls u quote keep it up - comforting the DPST party that their candidate is assured to win the Oval office.

let them be content to enjoy the predictions of the tv Orwellian talking heads - to put a man In the oval Office who cannot speak two sentences coherently due to his dementia.
Yes, keep up all the LSM assurances that Trump is as good as defeated and the party of Socialism and globalism is on the rise to globalize America into the socialist state of amerika.
Let all the unmotivated voters stay home - they are assured of victory - and guess what -

DPST's did not learn their 2016 lesson.

LOL

You are 100% correct in that the vote on November 3rd is the only vote that matters.

I in no way am implying that Trump is "as good as defeated" based on polls 6+ months prior to election. I am implying that the race is not over as many Trump supporters on this forum believe, but will be very close On November 3rd. I do think Democrats learned many valuable lessons from the 2016 loss.

Democrats were outworked on the ground in several battleground states -- Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin in particular. From what I've read, much more emphasis is being put into those states at the ground level.

I think some unknown number of Clinton supporters may have stayed home in 2016 due to the belief that Clinton was a sure winner. 2018 midterm turnouto showed that Democrats will turn out in mass to defeat Trump. No, Trump was not on the ballot but Trump supporters were.

I will continue to say that 2020 turnout will be well above the average 60%. Most believe the higher the turnout the more it is favorable to Democrats.

What you should understand is that whoever is elected POTUS in 2020 will have little to no impact on my personal life based on where I am in my life. I don't share your opinion that electing Biden would turn the country into a socialistic state. Didn't happen in 8 years under Obama and won't happen under Biden.

I've made 2 recent posts in response to your posts. For some reason you've avoided responding to them.

1. You claimed that the shut down was not consitutional. My post made it very clear that it was. Comment?

2. You claim that the 2020 presidential debates will be majorly important to undecided voters. I posted the opinions of several knowledgeable people stating otherwise. Comment?

If you don't think a person on stage in a presidential debate who has show IN MANY VIDEOS THAT I POSTED that he has trouble stringing two sentences together...YOU DIDN'T COMMENT ON ANY OF THOSE...HMM WONDER WHY.

Where ANYWHERE in the Constitution does it says the gumment can place people in lockdown and suspend civil liberties. You can't show where this exists but but you deflect by shooting your mouth off with things you can't substantiate but have no problem acting the fool. Plenty of members call you out on your non verified nonsense and you deflect as always...WITH NON ANSWERS. You're just an snob that doesn't know anywhere near as much as you think you know.

After each debate I'll call you out for your foolish disconnect from reality in admitting that your man Ol' Joe just made a bigger fool of himself with every word that comes out of his mouth!!

Because they’re ignorant. Watching Biden stumble thru a 10 minute interview is a clear reason why there’s the 25th amendment.

I think the DNC is just playing to get Biden elected in Nov 2020- and promptly replace him with the VP - (not Bernie) - but likely a female socialist of color.

AOC is too young or she would be it.

May be Omar or tlaib - how about one of them for POTUS - comment on that ???

Hey village!! I think your idiot is missing! Not to worry, I found him!

Again, I, and seemingly most voters in this country, do not care about Biden's gaffes. You can continue to bring them up and I'll continue to point out that voters do not seem to care. I have already given you the opinions of several individuals/institutions as to whether or not presidential debates are meaningful. All disagree with you.

Do you have any reading comprehension skills at all? Your OPINION on whether or not states have the right to place restrictions on people in their state is WRONG.

Read and learn.

States largely have authority over when to shut down, reopen

Under our constitutional system, states have the power and responsibility for maintaining public order and safety.

But for more than 100 years, the Supreme Court has upheld states’ robust use of their authority, even when it restricts people’s freedoms.

Yes, States and Local Governments Can Close Private Businesses and Restrict Your Movement

States—and their cities and counties by extension—possess what has long been known as a “police power” to govern for the health, welfare and safety of their citizens. This broad authority, which can be traced to English common law and is reserved to the states by the 10th Amendment, is far from radical; it justifies why states can regulate at all.

State and local governments can indeed decide to force even unwilling businesses to shut down, require people to stay mostly at home, impose curfews and even threaten noncompliance with arrest if necessary.

States Decide Own Shutdown Orders

Authority to order quarantines inside states rests almost entirely with states under provisions in the U.S. Constitution ceding power not explicitly delegated to the federal government to states, courts have ruled consistently for years.

Trump resists national shutdown, leaving it up to states

Authority to order quarantines inside states rests almost entirely with states under provisions in the U.S. Constitution ceding power not explicitly delegated to the federal government to states, courts have ruled consistently for years. While the federal government itself can’t order nationwide quarantines or impose quarantines on states, courts have said it has clear power under constitutional clauses regulating commerce to quarantine international travelers or those traveling state to state who might be carriers of deadly diseases.

Exactly what "facts" are you going to hit me with? You excel in posting BS opinions with absolutely NOTHING to back them up. I may not know much but I sure as hell know a lot more than you about politics.

Could be that Biden voters are ignorant but it is irrelevant.

Would not be the first time an incompetent individual has been elected POTUS. We only have to go back to 2016 to prove that statement to be correct.

It's pretty clear to me that people are selecting Joe, because of whomever his running mate may be. Clearly one would have to be ignorant to believe Joe has the horsepower to cross the street. Heck, his own teleprompter beats him in a debate. No way on Gods green earth could Joe handle daily pressers the way Trump is. He's is fully engaged, demonstrates command of the facts and don't take no chite from nobody. Besides, what does that say about you? Trump is President and you are not. BTW: Hillary is not also. Hope you knew that.
