Yes, I get more men that call that want to be a Dom than submissive. I tried to be a Dom and it felt weird and unnatural it is not enjoyable for me.

I think it's more of supply and demand. There are probably more women willing to take the role of dom than submissive, so that is what the guys who are interested are going to request.

I'm thinking it would also be tough on a trust issue for a sub woman on a board like this. There probably aren't too many ladies willing to take on a sub roll, since they would want to stay in control and stay safe. Sub women are hard to find. Then when you do find one, to what level of submissive do you strive for? There are many levels of subs, from furry handcuffs only to clover nipple clamps. There are extremes.

And like a line in The Wizard Of Oz....of coarse, people sometimes do go both ways...

The more you know and see someone the more you can trust to indulge in the role play. I enjoy being tied up, spanked, nipple clamps, and hope to try a gag ball some day. I would agree that it would be hard to go into extremes especially with someone you just met.

yes, trust is ultimate in such an encounter or relationship.

while i'm not a true dyed in the wool BDSMer, i have been the dominate guy in many encounters w/ providers - but mostly after several encounters so that there is some level of trust.

the only time it was on a first encounter - the provider i met was a close friend of another provider that i had visited many times. she assured me that provider #2 would do as i wished [of course, w/in limits] and assured provider #2 that i was a trustworthy guy.
i contacted provider #2 before our encounter and told her [not asked] to leave the door unlocked, to be naked & kneeling on the floor facing away from the door, and to be blindfolded. i entered the room, locked the door, and directed her pleasuring and deliteful actions for the next 55 minutes. only just moments before i left did i let her take the blindfold off.
i continued to visit both providers for several years more, mosly one-on-one, but occasionally both of them w/ provider #2 being "our" sub.
