Yes, Paxlovid has some efficacy in a limited age range. The problem is that it's not being marketed and prescribed as such. Had it gone through more extensive trials it's limits might have been exposed. Will there be any deleterius effect revealed down the road? Do you not think people should be aware?

I suspect there won't be problems down the road. Apparently you don't want to take it if you have severe kidney disease or take certain medications. I haven't read up on the side effects though. If I get COVID I might do some panic researching prior to taking Paxlovid. Or might not.
I far prefer Trump's approach to the trials and such. If we'd followed standard protocol for the vaccines, we'd still be waiting around to get the shots.
