I'm not sure I would enjoy staying at a whore resort. I was looking at the Hard Rock or something similar and just curious how difficult it was to get the girls delivered to me when I was in the mood for one.

Thanks for the info. Sounds like the high end places don't want any action happening on their property. I've been looking for a nice destination to relax, eat well and have good time. Seems like all of my foreign ideas have been a bust so far. Was hoping a guy could get it all in Cabo but from what I've read about it I'm better off staying in Dallas.

Did you end up finding out anymore about properties in DR? Have been checking out Taboo Villas private villa and also Oxygen retreat for a couples getaway. Would rather stay somewhere a little nicer and have company when we want it but not sure if this is possible after reading this thread and doing research on my own.

Sorry, I have been busy at work and have not had the opportuntiy to respond.

Yes, I am refering to "family" style AIs when you look at the latest ventures. I am considering Senses Private Club at this time.

The "family" AIs have avenues where you can procure local talent - although the price is very high. The last AI I stayed at was LaRamono and there was a cache of intermediate priced girls available but did not get the connect until I was leaving. See the outside bar manager inthis case and he can set you up. Dream of what you are seeking and you will know where i was.

I am also thinking about Bayhibe and renting a local room . I met a guy on the plane and he said he had fair play there. I will advise

Please let us Wanna-bees and Lurkers know how it turns out for you. A review of a specific provider is a bit less helpful than a detailed and comprehensive narrative report.

Another thought: At even a high-end AI or family oriented hotel,; if you make a reservation for a party of two (or three!), then bring in your own talent as part of your party, there might be less "arranging" involved with getting a provider in. . . .even if the provider soesn't check in when you do I would think.

You pretty much have to check in together and believe me from experience you get a lot of long stares both from the hotel staff and the sixty something nearly deads. I am Caucasian and in my 50s and to show up at check in with a 20 something non-English speaking Dominican hottie can be trying at best, especially when they start talking in Spanish so fast that you cannot understand what they are talking about. Poolside is not so bad but when you go to the private dinners, man you would not believe the looks!

Booking yourself is a pain as you normally are paying for the airport transfer from PUJ to the AI. Unless you can get your companion to meet you at the airport, you have to rendezvous somewhere in between which will require you to get a cab to the AI. If your companion meets you at the airport, you will have to pay to have your companion on the transfer bus. End result is a $50 cab ride and wait for a bus with your friend.

You normally have to put down a deposit when you check in so having your friend check in before you doesn't work either as most of the companions do not have the financial backing to support the deposit. Also, understand that after you check in, your companion gets a card that allows them to charge to your deposit for things like massages, catamaran rides and all of the tours that the AI provides. In addition, they can charge upscale alcohol at dinner.

At the AI, I gamble so unless you want to leave your friend in the room unattended, you will have to give her money to play. Also, most of the excursions require additional money which you will have to pay for both yourself and your friend.
I am contemplating Senses Private Club (EXPENSIVE) as they advertise that they cover all of the excursions, transfers etc. BUT - they "allow" tipping. "Allowing" tipping kind of tells me that the service level will be dictated by the tip. There are no reviews of Senses that i have been able to find on line, any recon would be greatly appreciated.

Any recon on renting an apartment would also be appreciated although I did meet a guy who had done that and he said that he would never do it again as his companion supposedly called the Policia and got him into a financial stick. He bought his was out of it. He returned to an empty apartment.

I am also looking into DRMermaids. Unfortunately, they cannot meet a short fused vacation. I am led to believe that these guys like several others simply find a group of women and provide the necessary paperwork and transfers for the price of about $200 then charge you upwards of $350/night for their companions. They have decent looking women but nowhere near the EU women of Senses. Playboy Vacations seems to be doing the same thing.

So the long and short is to pay upfront for no hassle arrangement.

I stayed at black beards in puerto plata and had a great time. Tons of girls hanging out by the pool and bars. You don't have to do a thing they will come to you ! Very reasonable pricing with the room for 60 a night and cute young girls for 40 ( couple hours ) to 60 ( all night ) . The hotel is clean 3 stars and 5 min walk from the beach in a gated community so a little safer. During the day there were 10 or 12 girls and at night close to 30 to choose from.

Have never been able to book there. They do not offer spur of the moment accomodations.

I have talked to several mongers who say the girls are not as classy as in the other parts of the country but the service was good. I am trying to contact them directly.

I have made 3 trips to DR this year. All to Puerto Plata and on all my trips I stayed at Blackbeard's. First time because I thought it was a safe environment to get started with hobbying in another country and next 2 trips, it was by choice. All I can say is that if one enjoys the hunting and haggling for some p***y, you can go anywhere in the country and find working girls. I don't. I go to relax and have fun. BB provides a perfect environment for that.

They have a good stable of girls available at a reasonable price. There are always more girls available than total number of guests staying there. This place is not AI, everything is a la carte. But, you don't have to haggle over pricing for companionship. You will know exactly how much when you check-in. If one wants to see the quality of the girls there, just sign up for their newsletter, you will know the current stable of girls on the roster. I can vouch for the accuracy of pictures in the newsletter - they are of current girls.

Most girls know little or no English and not all offer GFE. But, there is always mamasan there to help with translation. So, if you like someone and want to know if the girl you are interested in is open to your needs, mamasan will help you out. I don't know much Spanish but, it never bothered me much (google translator on the phone). My observation: new girls are less of a gfe than the ones who have been there a while. They also let you bring outside girls without any problem.

The hotel is decent (I would say 3.5-star). Small (22 rooms total), 3 different types of rooms in $60-100 price range. Rooms are ok. The restaurant/bar staff knows conversational English and is very helpful. Tip them well and they will take care of you (10% service charge does not go to employees, so be sure to tip to get great service - it took me 3 trips to find that out). Pool is nice.

There is a very good beach nearby (2 min. walking) that has some decent food and bars. If you want, you can try to pick up a chica on the beach. I never had desire to.

On an average, I have spent less than $400 /day on food, drinks and girls. I am not a heavy drinker. 1-2 girls during day and 1 overnight.

On my last trip, I went to Field of Dreams to check it out and here are my quick observations: Only 1 guest staying there, only 10-12 girls where available to choose form, the pool was a disaster and music was so loud that I could not even hear anything else.

Conclusion: In my opinion, BB is perfect for someone that wants decent quality girls in a safe and secure environment. I just wish I had found DR and Blackbeard's sooner.

Did a quick and shallow search . . .Breathless seems a bit like Sandals . . .by that I mean a Real-World family friendly resort rather than an Adult Sex Vacation place with escorts on staff.

Did I miss something (quite possibly)?

Yes it's not a kid friendly resort. It is advertised as adults only, but it's not sex resort. So I am looking at bringing someone into the resort if possible for one time encounters.

Or somewhere close to the resort
