There are probably some folks who want to come, so now they have seats.

Trump drew crowds before the election ... He still does.

I hope Ma Hillary is there dressed in a pantsuit and those special glasses and has a seizure when Trump raises his hand...with Ruth Bader Ginsberg having one at the same time.

I thought these retards represented both sides once elected.

So I want them to attend but yet they wont because they disagree with him but i don't?

How about doing your fucking job and pay respect to the position and not the person.

That requires self-respect and integrity.

They're the ones who invoked the "nuclear option" in Harry Reid's Senate to stack the federal Courts - now watch them yell foul when Republicans take advantage of it to push through nominees under Trump. Those are just 3 examples, but there are many others. Like I said, the Democrats are LEADING this race to the bottom.
I did not miss your point, No need to hijack your own post.

No republicans have boycotted any inauguration. There are about 100 lawmakers who miss it because of prior commitments. which seems like a lame excuse.

'With respect to the inauguration, I am not going to comment on those issues,' Obama said. 'All I know is I'm going to be there. So is Michelle.'

He is a spineless fuck!! Does anyone doubt that if the tables were turned and Repubs were boycotting that cunt Hillary he would be all over TV.

How can you doubt their "prior commitments"? They would certainly have been there but the Dems didn't pick the inauguration date until the last minute--don't you remember?

This is another one of those situations where each side pulls the same crap, but they only gripe about it when the "others" do it. It was wrong for the Reps to have so many important "other commitments" then, and wrong for the Dems to do it now.

No, each side doesn't "pull the same crap". Republican lawmakers have never sponsored an organized boycott or publicly urged their members not to attend. Why do you trust Wordup? He doesn't provide a link for his number, nor does he say which inauguration(s) that number refers to. Here is a link wherein the Library of Congress researched the question and determined the only rough precedent was Nixon's second inauguration back in 1973 - when those boycotting were also Democrats.

Lewis has lied so much over his career I'm beginning to wonder if his account of what happened to him at Selma actually occurred.

Do the dems get to pick each date?

There is one that comes around every four years, around the same time.
