Default Facebook, My Space, and Twitter

I don't buy the notion that the women left because of any "treatment" issues. Maybe that was the case with a few, I don't know, but in the past, the women participated because there was money to be made in a forum like this.

The net worth of assets held in the U.S. peaked in 2008 at $65 trillion. We hit a bottom of $48 trillion and have gotten about half of the way back despite going into debt another $9 trillion if you include the Fed balance sheet. Bottom line is people have less money, and HDHs are the ultimate luxury good.

And the supply has exploded. When I was in Daytona for Bike Week this spring, the best looking women by far turned out to be working girls. A buddy of mine was at a Dallas Uptown bar last night, and he spent an hour talking to a very pretty woman. After an hour, she admitted to being a working girl as well, a massive blow to his ego. LOL.

The stigma of being a working girl is clearly gone.

Are there any HDHs left under the age of 30? Or at least are the ones not lying about their age? I haven't seen any. Truth is that today you can hire a 21 year old sexatary for a year for what you used to pay a HDH for a week.

I think one thing that a lot of the stock and business owning folks here have not gotten is for the 70% of the population who don't own stock, the recession never ended. There are many, many more hot single moms out there who are desperate to help out their kids. There is little work for "unskilled" people.

I mentioned the sugar daddy sites before but I also have to wonder how much social media has played a role in the exclusivity of the HDH type women. I know of women who hook up via Facebook, My Space, and Twitter. If women use these sites instead of this one, they don't get branded with the escort/prostitute label. That is not the case for most women posting here. People know or could know who they are.

IMO the HDH model is in decline and so are the number of women coming to this forum. That it morphed into another forum, a boring political one, was inevitable.

Interest POV....I am curious about how the internet and poor economy are affecting the hobby.....clearly the internet provides more information which makes the market more efficient....that is clearly to the benefit of lower prices....the economy has had a big impact on lowering rates also, but that is probably only temporary....the big issue is the internet and how it affects supply and demand.....I don't believe the full impact of the internet has been felt yet....it is a process that takes years, if not decades.....I would guess the long term impact is lower prices.....that makes more sense to me......you are correct in that the supply of providers has exploded over the past 5 years....lots of young girls.....I've generally been happy with the better selection of attractive women and lower prices........

the big uncertain issue is how the internet impacts demand....clearly, the economy has lowered overall demand....one can speculate that particular ladies charging lower fees may have an increase in demand.....part of the issue is how some ladies who charge less poach higher fee ladies' business.....more supply makes that more likely with an overall price decrease......

it's an interesting topic.....

If you guys are right, and I have no reason to believe you aren't, what would that mean for hobbyist's safety? After all, one of the benefits of working with ladies from a board like this is that most were experienced and knew how to protect not only themselves but the hobbyist. The MILF or the young girl out for a thrill on Facebook won't have that knowledge

I set up a new thread for this Woody because it is a different subject than the thread it was posted in.

Many of the ASPD women stopped posting way before ECCIE was created and long before the market tanked.

This is a recent topic of conversation in Main Discussion too;

http://www.eccie.net/showthread.php?t=240632

Of course, all the ladies say business has never been better! It will be interesting to see how this one goes here.
I doubt that many ladies are going to say publicly "Yes business sucks, and I have dropped my rates to the basement level and still can't get any business"

The suggestion that it takes a significant period of time for the full effect of the internet may have been a good assumption years ago. Now, the internet allows things to "go viral" in the lingo, and thus, I think the timeline for impact has been shortened to days/weeks, not years.

As far as safety with ladies on facebook, twitter, etc., I think that the younger generation embraces the Paris Hilton model rather that the Senator Wiener model of press time, and thus, safety is not paramount to their business plan.

Personal responsibility.....everybody is responsible for his own safety, in ALL ways....

I don't see how you mean that high end ladies are safer......if you mean disease-wise, Nina has posted numerous times that high end ladies often do BB.....is that safer?

I would suggest that as new ladies join, with the new internet attitude, that the change can be forced rather quickly. If old behavior and attitude result in a telephone that seldom rings, then change is inevitable. Change can be price, activities, or a new career path.

I can tell you unequivocally that high-end ladies are the last ladies to partake in BB.

Why have women quite posting here? Maybe because it takes a thick skin to post here? Maybe because they aren’t interested in the political threads that have been in vogue here lately? Maybe there are other places to post? Take your pick.

I agree with you, Olivia. But as far as what another woman does in the privacy of her bedroom, I dare not speculate.

As far as posting is concerned, being a quiet provider for a long time, it does take guts to put yourself out there. But when I realized what's important to my business as a provider, which is being present for the equally quiet patron, things got dramatically better for me. As far as the hobby and the economy, things have been better for me in the last three years than the two before. Maybe because I put a little thought into what I was doing in such economically trying times, but I would like to think that the need for what I offer came into better demand and my rate is only going up.

I try to stay away from political subjects as there really aren't any right or wrong answers, and it tends to be like going around in circles. I must say as of late I have been noticing the need for guys here to publicly humiliate a lady when she says something on the boards, like we invaded some Male Only club. Every time she starts a thread, it's a 'threAD'. It's like being at a party and we're the hired models, only there to be eye candy and not to speak. I'm not saying that if you have a different/better view, you shouldn't disagree with her or challenge her logic. But some of you have the need to use this industry to put a woman down, and you're very apparent. But if more providers knew 'the secret', they wouldn't feel so bullied. I understand the general consensus among the guys (brains don't count), but I would hope that personality counts for something. Someone told me tonight that the time spent to know the person you're spending time with is not a total nutjob is time well spent.

As far as the internet is concerned, I think we're going to have to be more clever in our delivery. I think we're going have to go back to the old school (not the streets, sillies!). Making preparations now...

Default I miss them.

I miss those times.
I miss those women.

Times when we would smile and caress.
Not bicker and taunt to hurt.

We would taunt and bicker just for the make up sex.
Ooh baby ooh.

Higher faster, lower slower.

Pant pant as it were.

You idiots.
Fools.

OK, so you win an argument.
You are so smart. You win.
And you lose.

We all lost.
"Hey baby. Don't say maybe."

I myself am not alone but I cry inside because of what has been lost.
Let's dance my friends. Let's live and love.
Do you understand we wither and die like the grass?
Poof.

Thank you Tiffani.
Half of me is everything OliviaHoward ever dreamed of. I now lack the other half.

I believe she is 90% of mine.

I wonder of the inverse square law of gravitation and what I have seen.

My mind may want to rip in twain but I still yearn for what a real woman can offer.
