I have a couple of ladies I see regularly that I know have a pimp, I have met him. He does not bother me because when I set an appointment, I show up on time, I have the proper funds and I leave on or before the time is up. I don't get the need or interest in having a p!mp as a dancer at a club. The manager of the club and bouncers (if applicable) are the protectors, and having someone else taking money and bossing her around would seem not only wasteful but also annoying for her. But whatever...

It's an emotional thing, it's about having someone they think cares about them, and actively having someone that takes their side even outside of the club, someone that understands what kind of life you're living and the problems it comes with......personally I think any SW with a "manager" or "pimp" is stupid as fuck, but they find security and stability in having one, even if it quite literally brings the opposite hahaha.

I can see a reason especially for the girls who come straight over here who have nothing and don't family here to support. The pimp or handler is just fronting her money to live, an apartment, car etc and she pays them back over time.

Yea a manager would be a good spot to be a pimp. Technically the club is already pimping by making them pay their daily fees to work there
