My opinion, if she found a reason to not see you, wasn't satisfied with the info you provided for screening or for whatever reason she didn't feel comfortable seeing you, she should have let you know or at least come up with some reason if not just to say "Currently, I am too busy etc". That's common courtesy in my opinion. However, and I'm not saying you are whining about it, you shouldn't have taken off or made extra plans away from work until you got confirmation of an appointment with her. I realize that just further frustrates you. My hobby time is limited so any time I meet a provider I have to schedule it within my working hours etc, so I understand where you're coming from there.
