Has anyone here ended a long-time marriage so that they could hobby whenever they want? I'm so tired of having to do this on the sly.

When we split the sheets tho, there'll be less hobby $. Oh well, I'll just get a better job. So much p****, so little time!

My husband is an active hobbyist. And we are also swingers.. it is possible to be in a long term relationship and still provide/hobby! Just gotta find the right partner

Thank you, Naughty_Jezabelle!!! I could not have phrased it better. It is possible to have the best of both worlds - finding the right person to play with (partner or provider) is central to happiness and stability of any relationship.

Yes.. we met in a "business" setting.. and he was married to the wrong partner.. the "right" provider turned into the "right" wife.. and now he gets the best of both worlds.

On top of he says he naturally has two women at home.. his wife and jezabelle.. which believe me want to be fucked two different ways.. but just as often LMAO.

The universe certainly smiled upon him. But it must take a certain level of flexibility (no pun intended) and trust to make that relationship work.

But I couldn't imagine a better way - having a SO that you could share this world with and then go home and 'enjoy' each other as well.

Haha...I always tell a certain couple of friends the same thing! Anyone watch Big Love on HBO? I think that's the perfect scenario...maybe even one or two more wives!

I am sure there a lot of hobbiest that have left their wives for a provider and then left the provider, too! ahehehhe.. I don't think they will boast about it....

I know a person's conscience might be tested hobbying..but to me your best option is to communicate with her about you sexual needs.

Most woman will allow their husbands to see others because they have become accustomed to a certain standard of living and don't want to let that lifestyle out of their sight! But be ready for the "swingers" lifestyle.....like the majority of the hobby world. If your feelings will get hurt because she is enjoying another mans tenderness...think twice before you make that choice!

No one knows your situation better than you, nutinmuch.
So only you can make those decisions.

But I can say that in every case, without exception, the hobby, as enjoyable and entertaining as it can be, is in no way a replacement for the deep intimate relationships shared with a wife or partner.

What we have here are diversions, business transactions. Pleasant encounters? Hopefully every one. Friendships sometimes? Sure. Even the L word on rare occasions? It happens, but then its no longer the hobby.

Nutinmuch, Flinde had touched on part of what I was thinking when I read your posting. I have to ask, are you looking for an excuse to get out of your marriage? I'm not trying to put you on the spot, and I don't expect you t answer, frankly this is a bit public for the hard questions which I think you need to be asking yourself. It comes to this, are you thinking of dissolving the marriage so it's easier to sneak around, or are you using the inconvenience of the subterfuge as a justification to dissolve the marriage?

It does take some work and ALOT of trust! On both our parts. But honestly, I don't think either of us would have it either way. It works best when the couple has ground rules. We both respect each other and the ground rules.

And I am the first to tell him if there is a new provider or a girl he hasn't seen that I know he would enjoy. LOL

IMHO, if you are looking for a way to get out of a marriage, the marriage is already over. Get the divorce before the dirty laundry becomes public, I know of what I speak...
