Default STD testing and partner notification

Interesting dilema.

I've routinely done std testing using STD Check or some other service where they contract with a local lab such as Labcorp or others to have blood work done. Not surprisingly, I always have negative test results

However, from what I've read in the fine print of STD Check or ANY other form of STD testing, they are required to report positive results to the state health department. In my state, partner notification is required.

That's the dilema. My spouse and I don't have sex. That's why I got in to this hobby. I damned sure don't want my spouse being notified if I do have a positive test result.

So how do you get truly anonymous STD testing? Is that even possible? Planned Parenthood isn't an option as there isn't one within 200 miles.

Thanks.

How would they contact your partner though?

I've had std tests done by a service outside of the state by a local lab. If you did that the report only goes outside the state and no local notification.

I don't know if this is an option or not but maybe you can check and see what your local County Health Department has for reporting guidelines.

Wow, I guess I didn't read the fine print but wouldn't want my wife to find out, I'm in the same situation as O2flyhi
