My local Post Office has a box to collect them for disposal that I utilize.

I think my posts are going quite a bit a ways above the heads of the MAGAs here.

So I'll give the class some cheats. The proper way to dispose of a flag is to burn it. And, burning the flag is protected under the 1st

https://www.whitehouse.gov/president...american-flag/

trump signed an EO criminalizing burning of flags.
trump signed an EO negating the first amendment.

... Wrong.

... President Trump's version is Criminalising the
Flag Burning if it's in course of another crime.

How is burning a flag on yer-own propery - or in to
dispose of it a crime? .... It's NOT a crime in Trump's view.

Sorry but you don’t simply burn it, only leftwing wackjobs do that. It’s as disrespectful as it possibly could be, but we’re talking about people who hate their country so dousing it in gasoline and throwing it in the street, while legal, only proves what everyone already knows.

There’s a whole bunch of rules for respecting the flag, most of which nobody pays attention to. I hand dug a 60’ trench to keep within lighting guidelines, which is only one of the many rules. It was well worth the backache because she looks damn glorious at night.

For those interested. https://www.legion.org/advocacy/flag-advocacy/flag-code

What happens with American flag boxers? Or bikinis? Or bandanas?

Are those disgraceful abominations safe to burn out in the yard?

I’m fairly certain that wearing a flag as clothing is considered inappropriate. Like I said in the previous post, very few people actually follow flag etiquette.

That doesn't address the question, though. Are they to be treated the same way or is it OK to burn them out in the yard after they're covered in various bodily excretions and unfit to fly.

It is, according to The Legion’s post. I’m not sure if that applies to things that represent the flag (bandana/bikini/whatever) or only an actual flag, but I for one don’t take chances and wear anything like that.

I’m not completely sure. If forced to guess, I’d say that only an actual flag is subject to the rules, not a likeness printed on clothing, so it would probably be ok to dispose of such things however you want.

That would also be my interpretation. It prohibits making clothing out of a flag but clothing depicting a flag is ok.

Burning the American flag is a protected form is free speech under the 1st, too, in addition to being the appropriate way to dispose of a flag.

Know what is also against flag code? Writing on, or otherwise marking the flag.

It is wholly un-American for a sitting president to sign a flag. It isn't his flag. It never was, and never will be. It belongs to the people. To put your signature and your name on something that isn't yours is abhorrent. But it's fine if he does it, right?

Worn out flags are to be burned- That is the only agreed method of destruction of them. Burning it to be political is stupid. The country takes lots of different directions, but it's still the USA.

But when it comes to the flag- REDHATS really show they don't give a shit about it. They love that Trump has turned it into a swaddling cloth for the ill-informed, and his name is either signed on it, or placed in block letters across the Red and white stripes.

It's beyond the cheap and insulting gestures of feitly by those assholes but most offensive to those who love this country but hate that fucking dirty donnie fuck-face. The only time I would allow trump to be embraced by the flag of this country is when his time comes to be eulogized.

His hugging it, and kissing the flag are simply gesticulations of the fraud he represent; and the money he has pocketed by his lemmings and weak-minded followers.

One thing is for sure- he'll land in the same place Epstein does in history and in eternity. Birds of a feather and all that.

Fuck that piece of garbage.
