This is something that I could actually get behind. It’s just a giant hypocritical piece of revenge to indict Bolton for the same thing that Trump is guilty of and was never prosecuted for.

This was the culmination of an investigation that began under Biden's DOJ, and unlike Comey and James, there's no lack of prosecutors chomping at the bit to take this on.

That said, if you believe Trump deserved to be prosecuted for confidential records violations, then you probably should believe Bolton should be prosecuted too. Or vice versa, if you believe Trump was innocent.

IMO, Trump and Bolton both deserve(d) a slap on the wrist -- no jail time but a warning not to waltz out of the White House with classified intelligence. Especially if you're going to leave the info in your bathroom for the entertainment of your guests while they're taking a dump, like Trump did at Mar a Lago.
