When I was able to watch OAN (damn freeloaders got kicked off cable by ATT and now they are some over-the-airwave station that is so weak that you only get an audio signal) you definitely know which side started all of this. Documents obtained by the New York Times reportedly show DHS has now signed a deal with Gulfstream to purchase two “used” G700s, a model which apparently boasts “the most spacious cabin in the industry.” The newspaper adds it’s been unable to determine exactly where the funding came from.

And before you go saying that Kristi's slumming it by buying two used jets, please note that the list price of a new G700 is $78 million to $83 million. Upgrades can take it to $85 million to $100 million. So if these are used, they must be something like demos.

Well, it's not as wasteful as $200 million for a White House ballroom. And yeah, everybody loves a parade, especially on his birthday. But $30 million seems a little excessive, considering Trump turned 79. Maybe for the big 80th in 2026 it would be worth it.

I'm not sure the Trump Administration is the taxpayer's friend.
