Today marks the 70th anniversary of Pearl Harbor it happened December 7th 1941...I want to thank everyone on here that has served our country it is greatly appreciated.Thanks

I just watched an excellent 2-hour program on the History Channel entitled "Pearl Harbor: 24 Hours Later". It concentrated on FDR's hour-by-hour reactions to the news trickling in under difficult pre-TV, pre-Internet conditions, culminating in the 6-minute "Day of Infamy" speech before a joint session of Congress.

You can read the New York Times review of the program.

Saw the same show!!! Excellent!! I missed parts of it due to personal interruptions though. As horrible as it was though....if it wasn't for PH, Who knows, we might all be speaking German now! ???
