Well it's kind of harsh but think of it this way. You may not make it to 70. I started mine at 62 and then worked for a couple of years at a part time job before fully retireing. Never regreted it.
ALso, if you wait till 70 they may have changed the rules by then, but if you start now then you'll be grandfathered in with old rules. When I took mine at age 62 the other option was 65, not 70. They changed the rules.

37 is not too early if you are mentally challenged. They will give you a test-just try to stick the square peg into the round hole. When they ask you what day it is or who is president say "I don't know" and they will declare you an idiot and totally disabled. Be sure to call that schiester in the cowboy hat first and you can retire early.
