Actually, she did have her tattoos already. She covered them up for the Miss Kansas pageant.

And, I'm ex military (USAF) and it is not destruction of property to have tattoos. There are policies in which one has to follow, as in; tattoos can NOT be noticeably seen while in uniform, cant be racist, and some other policies I cant remember. I had two when I signed my life away at the Meps station. I got another one while on block leave. A recruiter is required to fill out a tattoo screening form and any tattoo questionable is sent up the chain of command. UF 1241 is the form. Otherwise, tattoos are definitely not an issue... myself and several others are walking proof.
