Default Outcalls and the hotels that we choose?

I dunno if this topic goes here....but here goes.

Ok, does it matter what hotel i get when i see a provider? I mean..seems like many providers are picky about hotels...like if i get a hotel that is say Motel 6, they don't wanna go...but if i get say a fancy one, they're all willing to go. Why is that? I mean they're still getting paid either way...i just wanted to know since i see nothing wrong with having fun in a Motel 6

Yes, it matters. If I had to, I'd guess it's a safety issue for the ladies. They may not in actuality be safer at a high class hotel, but they may perceive they are safer.

And as we all know, perception is reality.

It's because of the belief that police departments won't waste money springing for an expensive hotel room to do busts.

However, about a year ago there was a sting operation at a 5* hotel in the area. The very next day a gentleman wrote and asked me to meet him at the same hotel. I asked for screening info and he said "Why would you need that? The police aren't going to be staying at the Four Seasons!!"

Yeah that is flawed logic....the cost difference is peanuts compared to the overall resources used to execute a sting op.

As for the original question, I guess it depends widely on the price tier of the gal. That said even low end gals would prefer a nice place if she isn't paying.

In general though, I imagine for all those gals that advertise that they want "upscale gentlemen" the fact that he is springing for at least a business class hotel is a sign that he is at the minimum not a bum or a thug. Of course the fact that he has money doesn't mean he won't be violent or an asshole etc.

thanks, perception is everything as some mentioned and the fact that it makes sense for cops to be cheap about the room is a reason why it makes more sense lmao

I think providers need to understand that restricting which hotels that they will go to also restricts potential business. As a client, I have a budget. Part of that budget is the cost of the room. When I'm in the mood to play, I might set a budget of $400. Because I want to get the best value for my dollar, I'd rather spend my budget on a high quality provider and skimp on the room. So let's say there is a well reviewed provider who charges $350. My budget tells me that in order to see her, I have to get a cheap room. I think providers need to be aware of this. Either that or be willing to work with on price in order to go to a better class hotel. Gals need to remember that for the most part, we are only paying for the room in order to have our fun. Most of the time unless one is out of town, the room will be vacated when the date is over. So if had a choice on paying $50 to party at the Super 8 or spend $200 to party at the Hilton, I'm going to the Super 8.

Seriously, if the guy wants to get a Motel 6, he is free to, because we won't use it. Assuming that he checks out and is willing to pay my price, I will suggest my retreat rather than going to that type of place. Not only is the room quality usually sub-par, but I think that as an attractive woman dressed business-like, driving a car which is out of place for that type of venue, that I would draw too much attention to him and to myself. The types of guys who I see usually drive cars and dress more formally which would be out of place at lower end hotels as well.

More realistically and often encountered for me is that there are some decent business-class hotels which I will not go to because either the area is considered unsafe, or there is backchannel communication about them. I've refused to go to those types of hotels AND refused 4 and 5 star places when I've known my relatives or others I know in the mainstream were staying in them :P

This should be a luxury and not something that needs to be budgeted. If a lady rate is 350 and up and you call her to a motel outcall you might be taking her out of her comfort zone.

On the flip side......would you see an upscale lady for a 400 plus donation rate at an hourly motel. Would it make sence? Perception is a two way street in the hobby, moreso at times for providers since they are reviewed.

Why not see a lady for a cheaper rate to account for your budget. Seems a more fesible idea to me.

I think you also have to factor in the location. Where I live, half the year hotels can get away with charging double a reasonable room rate. I'm talking 2.5 star hotels charging 4 star rates. Why should anyone pay over $100 or $150 for at most a 3 hour stay?

You know ladies feel the same way. Everybody hates paying for hotels, but if is a major factor in the experience. I travel, and If I am going to play, it is at my place. Knowing that I am inviting a client to my space I want it to be an environment that is warm and inviting and conducive to the experience. It makes for a good afternoon, or evening.
How would he perceive me if during the standard two call system I said "Motel 6" ? He would conjure up all kinds of negative images about me. So, instead, I bite the bullet, and offer only upscale accomodations.

So, it costs a little more, but you want to know a secret?

Hit up Priceline.com, travelocity top secret hotels, and sometimes hotels.com and choose a three star hotel, and see what you can do.
When using priceline I use this strategy. They only allow one bid per 24 hours but that is per credit card. Ultimately priceline wants to put you in a room and get there fee so they don't care that you use a different card. I have like five that I can play with for hotel bidding. Start Stupid Low. Then go back and bring it up. That's probably how the cops landed a room at the seasons. You want to know if they are going to accept the price before you commit, but thats not how it works. So, I do this. Get a prepaid card just for hobby hoteling. Then, before you add the funds to pay for the room, put your bid in at priceline. If you bid two star, you can actually get it accepted at a fairfield inn for twenty five dollars sometimes. But, by using a separate card, you can increase your opportunities to bid. So, if they shut you down at twentyfive, go thirty on a different card. The fear that people have is when priceline says your bid has almost no chance of being accepted. Don't listen to that, they are just trying to up you. I get rooms like this all the time.

Travelocity.com has introduced top secret hotels, and they are a bit easier to deal with but priceline is definitely cheaper.

But I think most providers would be okay at a two or three star which you can easily get in the thirties.

Also, Denny's will usually have a little green book in the foyer area with hotel coupons. They are usually pretty decent if you must walk in with cash, but you cannot beat the online deals.

Hotels.com is good for me because I can choose the specific hotel, not be surprised, and every ten nights, you get one free!

So, I hope that these hotel tips can help you guys out because be honest, when you walk into a motel 6 does it make you feel sexy? If you really want to bring out the best in your girl, create a sexy vibe in your atmosphere and it will turn her on even more! For any one that has a chance to visit West Palm Beach Florida, I highly recommend Hotel Biba, which was voted the sexiest hotel in America, and you can get a room there for about ninety bucks.

True: perception is reality! BUT, how many times can you make a first impression? DUH, ONCE! It's also perception how sexy a room or the ambiance is. A true professional could take a 3 star room and make it feel like a 5! Candles, incense, hot tub, music, porn, etc, are all part of the experience (for me). The comment made about dressing classy, nice cars, etc, in a low end hotel is spot on! Talk about being noticed! We are trying to be subtle to the "outside world", and dressing classy, driving a nice car, would be expected to be seen at a 4 or 5 star. I understand the point of budgeting, esp in this recession, but come on guys, this is NOT your grandmother you are putting up while she is in town, it's supposed to be the experience of a lifetime! A little effort on both parts, and you almost can't go wrong! Also, having a pre-pay Hobby card is genius! Online prices ARE cheaper! I guess in the end, it's like anything else, you get out what you put in. Hope for the best, plan for the worst, and pray for fantasy realization!

What you said may work for providers. After all, you plan on entertaining more than one client while traveling, so in essence you can "splurge" for a higher quality of room knowing you will make it up based on the numbr of clients you see. In my case, I can't host at home. I have to get a hotel locally when I want to play unless I'm seeing a touring provider. I'm going to be seeing one provider for about 2 hours. For me, budget hotels work fine. Having said that, I'm not going to get a room in a bad part of town, and I always ask a provider if she is comfortable with the hotel I'm planning on getting. Also for clients, using Priceline or any other service requiring a credit card probably won't fly. I tend to use cash for room when playing locally.

Default Not always true....

That is not actually true. I only see one client per day, so the cost of the room is very much an issue for me. I work full time, and I don't have time to entertain more often than that, so the perception that we will make it up is not true. If you read what I said though, I was telling you how to take your motel 6 budget, and get a three star hotel with it. That was my point.
