Default Please enlighten me on harris.

WITHOUT MENTIONING TRUMP IN ANY MANNER, INCLUDING HIS FIRST RUN AS POTUS.

OK, so taking Trump out of the equation, why should I vote for harris/walz. This thread is all about harris/walz, not Trump.

Harris/Walz is the better ticket. Period.

At the end of the day, choices are made for that reason.

Remove the choice from the decision and you really don’t get to make one.

Harris didn’t incite a failed transfer of power

Harris didn’t terribly mishandle Covid

Harris isn’t a racist antisemite mysogonist

Harris isn't a puppet of Putin

Harris isn't a felon with additional crimes yet adjudicated

I'm sure I could come up with many more.

We're not stupid. You hinted toward Trump on some of your answers. Can't you follow simple directions? I guess you just couldn't help yourself. This thread is about harris/walz, not a chance to take more cheap shots at Trump.

Theyd vote for a turnip if it had a D beside it. They voted for a near cadaver last time.

TDS runs rampant here. If it wasn’t for the heavy handed moderating that keeps them in line youd see just how toxic their verbal vomit truly is.

Not one of them will tell how great inflation is. Not one of them can bring themselves say ILLEGAL immigration when talking about the border and not one of them understand that the right to an abortion was not banned but returned to states rights.

Bad parenting, indoctrinating education and MSM propaganda is all they know.

Orange man bad!
Which btw is just as bad as racism

Harris has one BIG problem. no one knows what her policies and stances are, we know what they used to be .. far left progressive socialism. but that are they now?

Harris herself has not recanted any of those positions. her campaign has "backtracked" for her.

that's not quite the same thing as Harris herself in public interviews explaining her "current" polices. Harris didn't even do that in her few softball interviews

the Winfrey townhall was a disaster. it should have been an opportunity to sway all those undecided voters. instead all we got was the usual "word salad" that left even Winfrey shocked by it.

it's clear why Harris is avoiding open press conferences. she'd have to actually give an answer.

this is hurting Harris in polling among undecided voters and even many Democrats

so what does Harris actually stand for? inquiring voters want to know!

She's a puppet that does anything her handlers want.

There are some things in that sentence on which we’d disagree. I’ll just stand by my answers.

The question is why we should respond at all. The amount of hatred radiating off this thread is quite palpable.

I’ll try to answer your question but contrasting the two candidates is the usual approach when deciding on your candidate.

In my case here are some of the things that I like about Harris.

1: She’s a lawyer and lawyers tend to view their jobs with that in mind. A chief executive that follows the law is better than one who doesn’t.

2: She’s a bad liar. I like it when it’s better for our leaders to tell the truth.

3: She’s not a Washington insider.

4: She’s a believer in NATO and the current world order.

5: As a woman of color she has a real understanding of both racism and sexism.

6: She listens to experts and usually understands what they are talking about.

7: She’s in good health both physically and mentally.

8: At 59 years of age she is not yet a senior citizen.

9: She believes in science.

These are just off the top of my head. I’m sure I’ll think of more.

All I see is Harris is the most left wing radical person to ever run for President. She makes Bernie Sanders look like a right wing zealot.

There is no way she would have won in a contested Democrat Primary this time, just like 4 years ago.

Again, we're not stupid and we can see the subtle shots you took at Trump.

Here, let me simplify this. Say I'm an indy voter who hasn't made up his mind who to vote for yet. Without mentioning or hinting at Trump, tell me why I should vote for harris. Don't sell me by using Trump, sell me on harris using her history and her values.

I think that you are seeing things that are not there.

In this situation I was thinking about Obama and seeing some of the same qualities in Harris and just listing them in the post. I wasn’t even thinking about Trump.

Maybe Obama is the anti-Trump?

I just realized that there is another way that Harris is like Obama. They both picked a grey haired white guy as their Vice Presidential candidate.

Let me guess

10: You love the colour of her eyes.
