I understand what you are saying ck1942. But in both scenarios prostitution (illegal) and escorts (legal in pure sense of the word, no sex) the provider is selling the service not time. Time is the way we determine how much service. Prostitute on ECCIE sells sex acts and you have an hour to perform them. Escort, no sex, sells her being arm candy, a date to event, and you pay either by hour or some standard rate. No one sells time, it is not for sale, but we use it to measure how long service takes place. Am I being clear?

This has been an enlightening conversation. Whomever states that time isn't sell-able obviously does not hold a job.
