KC MO advice
Going to be going to KC and was wondering what are good areas to stay in or avoid. Any advice at all would be appreciated.

Perhaps consider the Plaza zip codes 64112 & 64111 (centrally located and nice shopping/restaurants, etc.)
2nd Casino's (Missouri)
3rd Airport (north edge of metro)

Stay away from 87th and 435. Stay out of Johnson County, KS.
Good places to stay; the Plaza, near Bartle Hall (Power and Light district), and near Westport. Going to North KCMO or the Airport puts you too far away for some people.

Airport and Crown Center areas are where I played .... Country Club Plaza is a preferred location for a lot of ladies/gents too.

Mocha is correct that Crown Center and Airport are fine.
Plaza appears to be simply preferred due to abundance of other various shopping and restaurant activities.

KC can wait. A business associate told me Saturday that the hotel would not honor the booked rate for the following few days of the trip. Many places have overbooked and are turning away guests that previously reserved at lower than rack room rate. Signs of a recovering economy, I take it.
