If you're denying that Jesus was Middle Eastern, I've got just about every biblical scholar out there to say otherwise. I don't know what Monger was trying to start with this thread, but I really hope you aren't saying that Galt.

Monger was throwing out the heavy troll bait, trying to get someone to answer and start an argument like he always does, its worked, he got Galt to reply and then you to reply to galt. So please dont feed the troll. I know that Galt does not have the brains or restraint not to respond so I ask everyone not to respond to Galt or anything else that gives this thread life.

If God doesn't have a sense of humor, I'm in a lot of trouble.

I found the picture...thought it was funny...decided to share it...knew it would be thought provoking. I really just wish that I'd found it earlier when all the "birther" arguments were going on.

It really is one of the more clever motivational posters.

Please have a sense of humor.

FYI - from a historical perspective - Mohammed did not have his revelation regarding Allah until around 700 A.D. Therefore, the name "Hussein" would have no relevance in this context. Besides, from the historical records, Jesus was a Jew.

And I thought his middle name was "f'n".

"Hussein" just means "good looking" anyway. Nothing to get mad about. I guess a man-god could have any middle name he wanted, even centuries before it was commonly used. The earliest German version of "Henry" wasn't used until about 1000AD.

His name wasn't Jesus anyway; it was Yeshua Ben Yosef. Yeshua was one of the most popular male names back then, so "Ben Yosef" is important. I guess that makes his middle name "Ben".

Serious question to you scholarly types..Why does Jesus always appear more angol-saxon. Fair skin, blonde or redish hair, light eyes. Is this a common appearance for folks from Bethlehem? Seriously? was this common, was he like a Brad Pitt of Jews, or do we really have no clue what Jesus really looked liked and we buy the myth created by a bunch of white dudes?

Oh, I'm notorious for "labeling" people, so no offense to the white dudes. lol
