Best breakfast places (Pitch)
Congrats to:
Roxanne's Café in Parkville for being recognized by Pitch as a favorite for one of it's named breakfasts.
Opens at 6AM and close enough to the I29 corridor to easily take care of early morning folks after a long late evening.
They have a café in Platte City also.
For north of the river, my 3rd favorite breakfast after a Jameson's Pancake, and umm, never-mind.
Disclaimer: Neither of my first two favorites are actual breakfasts.
Seriously though, who does not enjoy professional work first thing in the morning.

Which one? There's a few, all of which are a few dollars more per plate.
And not mentioned by the Pitch restaurant reviewers who also handle reviews of other late night entertainment locals as well.

I liked the Corner Cafe in Riverside. Been a few years since I've been there, but remember it being good.

Yes Kate's at 80th & North Oak. Been there, excellent. Doesn't open till 7am on weekends though.
The Riverside Corner Café used to have owner's personal attention, but now they have three stores.
I simply prefer a place that is 1st to open, with gals that will through sass at you and take it back just as well.

well....
There's this place known as the "Y" that I particularly enjoy. The hostess is very attractive, keeps the place exceptionally clean and everything tastes fantastic! My dining experience is usually enhanced by the body movements and noises the hostess makes while serving me! I dine there at least twice each month.

It might not be listed in the PITCH... but word of mouth says it is the BEST place to eat.

Do you prefer Italian, Mexican, French, all-American or a combination platter of at least two entrees?

Ha! That's a thread-winner, scorp! My only problem is that most of those "Y" establishments aren't as "all you can eat" as they advertise themselves to be.
Back on topic... I've also enjoyed First Watch or Big Biscuit!

If you ever find yourself out in Gardner, KS at breakfast time, check out a place called Rooster's. It's a sports bar, but serves an outstanding breakfast. Large, delicious omelets and outstanding, homemade biscuits and gravy. Large, fluffy biscuits and gravy loaded with tasty sausage. Very reasonably priced also.
