Default dove hunting

well a week from today dove season starts in the Central zone. I will scale back my hobbying for 2 months and just see my regulars. So how many providers do we have in our little corner of the world that enjoy a morning or an evening in the field doing a bit of bird hunting. Im betting we have a number of hobbyists that enjoy dove hunting.....be safe and shoot stright...

I do a lot. Will be doing some bird hunting. I thought the North Zone started this week and South and Central started the 3rd week of September. Memory is going for sure.

Already got license and a lot of cases of shells bought when on sale during year. Since I travel a lot do some day hunts during the week, nice and quiet when weekenders not out. Time to think and ponder about the next girl to see.

I enjoy going out and grabbing a quick limit! My family owns a large dove hunting ranch outside of SA!

Birds and fish are high priority. South side has some good places. Might hit a honey hole in south zone for that special white wing weekend.

I'm looking for a central zone day hunt for 4 this coming Mon. More than willing to pay the going rate. PM me if you've got room or know of someone who does.

Ha! What sucks is if you hunt south of I-10 east, you can hear all the fun being had by the central zone boundary(north of I-10). By the time the next week comes around for the south zone to open, doves have learned to either fly high or hug the ground making it more of a challenge. Glad there isn't a season for Eurasian collared doves so far I don't think they are protected by hunting or migratory bird act.

I've never dove hunted, never Evan ate one. Lol but I love deer hunting. Not a trophy hunter, (don't get me wrong I would drop one in a heart beat) just go for the meat. I need to find a place for this year.

Ive hunted both for my lifetime. Even own a small place in Central West Tx thats loaded with deer. Dove hunting has become more popular with me the older I get. Its just easier and after an evening in the field shooting its easy to stop by one of my popular providers and get some pussy

This was last years haul on opening day of Special White Wing South Zone. Looks to be another good year this year also as long as weather doesnt show up on the 6th.
19 out 21 got limits in about 30 minutes. Was rather crazy
