Default The Scary Black Man (Yeah . . . this post again, but with a twist)

A provider here on Eccie, recently told a good friend of mine (over the phone) that she didn't see "tall" men. We both suspect she detected his ethnic background in his voice. He is black. Creative screening huh.

You can measure the racial divide or growth of a country by - who can or who cannot pay someone to fuck them. Interesting.

These are a few reasons I suspect some providers are members the NBA (No Blacks Allowed) group. I could be a bit off on this, but I really doubt it. Holla back.

1.Racism - a provider may not see black men - based on ill-conceived or preconceived notions, stereotypes and/or prejudices, or may have been raised to dislike or not trust black people.
(This one is quite unfortunate.)

2. Black men just don't appeal to a provider - either visually, physically, or sexually. (Nothing wrong with this as far as I'm concerned. Hell we like who we like.)

3. Fear of the big black mythical cobra snake. (Hahaha! Cracked myself up on that one.)

4. Bad experience with one or more black men. Physically abused by one or maybe got stiffed by underpayment, haggled about price, going over session time, or not paid at all, or whatever. (If this is/was the case, then I hope you're ready to move on to Asian men or something after you have a bad experience with a white client. BTW - not many Asian clientele out there.)

5. Fear of HIV. Thank our wonderful national media for this one. Making us all believe that this is only or mostly a gay or black disease. Some providers may therefore believe there are more health risks associated with black clients. (Big mistake. Just take a trip down to the closest CDC or health clinic. Keep it covered no matter who you prefer to see.)

6. They have a black pimp who does not allow them to see other black men. (And I thought only men who bought $100k cars were insecure.)

7. Avoidance of the young black thug types.
As one provider friend once told me - "those are some scary fuckers!" I replied, "so you are afraid of young black males?" she retorts, "No, I mean they literally fuck you in a rough, thug-lovin, kinda scary way, and I think I kinda like it."

8. They (black men) want to become your pimp or "non-paying" lover or man. Maybe providers having this experience a few times have decided that seeing more black men just isn't worth the hassle.

We are really not all that bad. In fact, I willing to help any provider get over any of the fears they may have listed here or not (except #3 of course). In the great and overly quoted words of one of the most remembered twentieth century civil rights icons, "Can we just all . . . get it on?!

No sweetie, just having a little fun with the topic due to the large number of providers that are in the NBA. And that's not counting the ones who won't admit it. I have had at least 10 to hang up in my face after asking me my race, or hearing my voice. BTW, did I see you in Walmart yesterday around 6 pm?

Yeah I thought so when I saw the "Tigger" tat. You're very cute in person, and even without makeup. I guess you're right, one's loss is anothers gain. I must say though that I have noticed that most of the NBA consists of young rookies. Only a few are seasoned vets.

I gotta say I love black men...whatever their background is. I like the way my white skin looks next to theirs, and I like to think they like it too. It's all about what you're attracted to. I'm attracted to most races, not all, but most. I do think in this business, turning away someone based on their race could hurt your business, but everyone runs their business their way.

I am curious about something and I'm not sure how to word this without it sounding offensive, but would people be offended if you read something on a provider's site that said she didn't want anyone who acted like a thug, spoke disrespectfully, etc...

My example being - and I have had emails and pm's like this:

"Sup baby, when can we hookup" or something similar to that.

Or a guy who pm's you and sends you his cock pic without you asking for it...

Would people take offense at requesting "intelligent, respectful men" whether or not they're black, white, mexican, indian, etc? There are times I'd like to put "I do not cater to people who talk like thugs or treat or talk to me with disrespect" or something like that... They'd get a lot farther with me by speaking to me like the intelligent men they are.

I don't get to see as many black men as I'd like... so just remember, if there are some providers out there who won't see you based on your skin color or ethnicity, there are those who will.

---------->

And if we're gonna pull the race card - why not ask for men over a certain penis length and girth? Why not say "I won't see a man with less than or more than [insert number here] inches.

I have seen sites that said "no uncircumcised men" too... has there been a big thread over that?

I guess it's all about what you're attracted to and what gets your juices flowing and REAL, INTELLIGENT MEN get my juices flowing.

Being a minority myself, I think I can respond. Big deal if they have a NBA policy. Hell there are people who won't see people who openly post reviews on SW's. Sure it sucks that they won't see someone based on race but its a business. I would not be interested in seeing someone who really does not like minorities but chooses to see me based on her monetary need. That session would probably be A CBJ type session with not much enthusiasm.

I don't see how you would help a provider with rule #3 though. Some clients will not see BBW's. That does not mean they have anything against them but that is there preference. If a provider won't see you for any reason, move on. Plenty out there that will....

Exactly... but you can still treat each other with decency. Hell, some people won't even acknowledge you if you're a BBW. Discrimination, pure and simple, but to each his own - you gotta go for what you're attracted to.

I have thought about putting certain things on my sites, but in my little corner of the world, I think it would hurt my business.

I always find these race threads amusing. They seem to be such a waste of time, as you're not likely going to change a lady's mind (or her management...) as to whether or not she will see a particular race.

First and foremost, it's her body hence her choice. My tenure in hobby land has seen preferences expressed for:
  • No men under and/or over a certain age.
  • No Asian men.
  • No Middle Eastern Men
  • No AA men
  • No uncircumcised men.
  • No men that aren't good looking
  • No men with poor hygiene.
  • No hagglers.
  • No single men.
  • No women.
...just to name a few. Yet it's always the AA race card that seems to get played.

As June has eloquently stated, there are plenty of ladies who have no preference on who they see, other than respectful decent gents.

Sure, discrimination/bigotry is a raw deal. But the ONLY way to affect change is to prompt change by example. There will always be some sort of discrimination in society, as long diversity and fear exist. (Believe it or not, as an Italian gent, I was discriminated against by many parents, when dating in high school and college. Further, anti semitic behavior still exists today. Hell, if you think AA discrimination is tough...refresh your memory of the history auschwitz...)

Funny, I posed this question in another forum; If an AA lady requests no AA gents, is that bigotry?

Move on to a lady that will happily open her door to you.

LOL so why post anything if you really have nothing to say? You have 99 posts here, how can it be beat to death according to you? It's an important topic, I think. It was important enough that black people have rights, so why not discuss it? This is the discussion area...

Thanks Tony and you're right. This card is overplayed but I guess after five consecutive attempts of having been turn away by five different providers over the phone (two hanging up after immediately hearing my voice, two giving me the runaround, one telling me flat out), then I was compelled to post for feedback on what's really going on here. However, I must say Tony that AA's receive far more of this rejection than any other non-preference you mentioned. That's why this is a reoccurring post/topic. And many times it's not to bitch and moan - but to expose it again in hopes that it does affect changes in the way we are perceived. It's easy for some (like yourself) to tire of these when you don't encounter this on a day to day basis - or after five straight attempts to contact providers who never indicated this until they're quickly hanging up on you.

Another possible explanation you didn't mention is marketing. If a woman's target market market is rich old white men, than she may have an NBA policy to placate those that won't see women who see black men.

And I agree this subject has been beaten to death, but honestly, that describes about 99% of the threads on this board.
