Backpages vs. Boards

I used to use BP all the time, but recently stopped once I got a better client base. Things have been dwindling lately so I've considered going back and posting once more.

I was just curious as to other providers/hobbyists opinions on BP. Do you use it? Frequently? Is it good advertising for yourself? Bad experiences? Etc.

I myself have some very mixed opinions about it, but I'd love to hear y'alls.

I do not use BP directly. If a girl is reviewed here, and there is a link to her ad on BP, I will check that out as it usually has pictures.

Other guys on here though do go to BP directly to "troll" for new girls that turn up there with greater frequency than on this site.

One thing that really irks me is when a girl posts an ad on BP with a lower rate than the ad she posts here. That is annoying.

Other than that, nothing wrong with you posting on BP to get more business. Just be sure to screen properly, as you should in any case.

Also be aware that there is a greater chance of a Craigslist-style crackdown on BP than here. Though this site is not immune.

There are pros/cons to everything. Before joining the board I would search CL/BP and lurk the boards for reviews to help me make an informed decision. There are no guarantees; but it was better than going in blind. May I ask a question? What do you think is the reason (e.g. holidays, donation, etc) things have started to dwindle? Just curious. If you decide to use BP; just look at it as another tool to advertise. Good Luck!

I don't use BP at all anymore, too much B & S. I only did out calls and after the first couple of switches I called only the ones that showed their face and figure. If they showed up a lot different they didn't get in. Now I have 2 regulars that I met thru BP and if I want different I go to P 411 or here. Be safe, be honest, be fun.

I started on CL years ago, place was a good hunting ground for the less-informed. After a while I moved to better sites, my own sites, p411, etc. Being informed is the only way to go though!

I'm not sure. I recently had a bad experience with an ex-SO who was on a mission to destroy any reputation I built up for myself so I took precaution and went under the radar until his douchey-ness passed over me. Now I'm back and it's been difficult trying to get back what I had prior to that incident.

I often search bp for new blood ..often "I post on requests to see if I turn up any info.but sometimes I just wing it..sure youre taken a chance buts thats life.

I'm so against BP since my incident with them while in the hospital. At least I got some payback for their BS.

I use backpage and have met several nice guys from there, I ask a lot of questions before I decide if I am going to meet with them.

I consider Back Page the street walkers version of the inter net provider ad's.

If you want to be a truely productive provider of high quality services, I dont see how BP would help. It exposes you to many risky situations and draws unwanted attention that many of the Men here do not want.

I stopped seeing providers that post on BP two years ago. And most of the reviews of the providers from BP are poor.

Providers I know have told me that December is usually a slower month for them. Hobbyists using the hobby money to buy gifts for the family, etc. Priorities on our parts I guess. January tends to be busy or so I have been told....

WOW!!

I know lots of very nice ladies who use BP because let's be honest - eccie (and others...) are not the only game in town. In fact many will tell you they get very little business from here. Somehow I feel the vast majority of visitatons to AMPS and similar venues are a result of BP.

They(BP) tapped into my bank account while I was in the hospital.Fucked up ain't it they like to make a lot of miscellanious(whatever) charges.

I have met very very generous men there. Guys and girls just need to pay attention to who they are meeting on BP. It is like anywhere else, there are good ones and bad ones. If a person does their research they will be just fine

That is fucked up! I use an HEB reload card just in case. Has a different addy too
