Just a quick question for discussion. How long is too long to wait for a response from a provider? It drives me nuts when I send a message to a provider and get no response or it takes them a few days to reply. Am I missing something, like they don't want to meet me? The other thing is when you message and you see that provider has been on long after the message was sent and the read receipt still shows they haven't read it. Hobbiests and providers please clue me in!

Everyone has another life to juggle, too. Some girls are just better at it than others. If this annoys you, stop communicating with those that are this slow and only play with those that give your needs a quick consideration and attention. I have dropped several ladies that take a week or longer to finally respond to my query. No harm, no foul, no business. When their inaction begins to bite into their monthly revenue, they may seek help from veteran providers how to improve their TCB. If not, they will soon apply for that job at Lane Bryant.

If your messages are more chatty than they are a fairly imminent 'let's meet' sort of thing, that might explain it.

When it's directly related to business, I reply right away. However, when messages have turned into back-and-forth banter, I can't prioritize them. I do enjoy being social when I have time, but naturally I have to prioritize business and other real life obligations.

I do know that a lot of ladies won't engage in that sort of thing at all... Some look at it as time wasting. It's not that we are being mean, it's just that we usually receive a lot of messages & it can quickly become overwhelming.

I hope this didn't come off as a lecture. Just looking at all possibilities & sharing a provider's perspective.

No absolutely I understand having to weed out chit chat. In my case there were two PMs sent to two different providers to arrange an appointment and there has been zero response.

If a provider has a number listed text them you most likely will get a quicker response. If no number is listed As in they have to screen you first having a provider pre screen you is not a bad idea.

And the read receipt they could have read and not just click on that. A lot of providers on her may post a ad but really don't engage in conversation on the board is why the may only get back to every 2-3 days.

If they use a smart phone on the site and don't log out it will show them as still on i believe not sure on that one. But in this hobby timing is everything.

I bet if you post the two providers out here in public view, you probably get a response, it might not be the response your wanting though. If it's a traveling provider that is coming to Arkansas she might already be booked up so she's not worried about you.

Well I am definitely not putting anyone on blast, that's not my style. They are both well reviewed and local. I am just getting back in the swing of things after a year layoff so I was just wondering if I am just impatient or if this is pretty common.

BTW I need to figure out how to add an avatar. I tried earlier and couldn't figure it out.

It used to be on the left, I think they recently changed the layout of the site.
