Democrats silent as one million lose food stamp benefits in the US
I cannot fathom how our government has allowed this to happen at a time when so many have fallen into poverty and have lost their jobs. There simply are not enough jobs to go around, and even if you are lucky to obtain part-time work and pay rent, you still may need food stamps. Look at this article. Hundreds of unemployed people who can't find work are now cut off from food stamps!

And you're whining because this explosion has peaked and the number of recipients may finally go down slightly?
Did you ever consider that being able to pay for your own food & groceries without relying on others is a self-esteem booster?

Ain't it a shame that, under a dumbascrap half-breed former community organizer, that the " community STILL has people on foodstamps after the TRILLIONS of dollars MORE in debt that HE"s made this country ? Mebbe he should ask his wife how to get those food stamp people food since her school food program worked SOOOO well for the kids ( that don't eat the BS that the school districts are forced to serve or lose their Federal funding ) and we now have MORE food being thrown away before MOOCHelle got her tranny ass involved in food for OUR school kids. House Republicans’ Additional SNAP Cuts Would Increase Hardship in Areas with High Unemployment
Why I disagree with GOP values. They keep cutting safety nets when our economy is in chaos. Yet, they want to increase the budget for military and national security in areas where it's not even needed. It's immoral and uncompassionate. No wonder the majority of Americans won't vote GOP. No wonder young voters are turning to leaders like Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren.

The reason they are on food stamps is because wages have been stagnant since the mid-70's and jobs are scarce. Most are minimum wage jobs and/or only part-time. Get real. Maybe you were born with a silver spoon in your mouth and/or got lucky, but many people were not. You are not living in the real world, like the 99%.
