Answered Prayers!

As I sit here and type this note, I am filled with tears of joy!
WE ARE HOME!!!!
One last thank you to all who prayed, thought of us and donated to my beautiful boy.
The last 2 surgeries were hell on us. The first one was just so scary and painful, the second one kept us in the hospital for 3 very long weeks due to him developing a pneumonia. THIS ONE. . . We made it out of there in 5 days!!! He sat up in his brace in bed the day after surgery. Pain management has been phenominal, he is in great spirits and I am NOT TOTALLY DEPRESSED AND A TRAIN WRECK. My back on the other hand is totally screwed. (Ahhem, UpAroundNoon, you'll be hearing from me soon)

THANKS TO YOU! MY VERY DEAR FRIENDS THAT KNOW JUST THE RIGHT THINGS TO SAY.
AND those who know just the right drinks to buy! (Nikki, Mike).

I've been praying for your son, who I am convinced is an angel walking around in human disguise, as well as the rest of your WONDERFUL family. You are a lucky lady, but more than that you are a first class woman in every way! You deserve good things, and if there is ANYTHING you need, never hesitate to let me know! I don't have much, but it's yours nonetheless.

Dee, I'm so happy to hear that all went well. What an ordeal for anybody to go through let alone a young man. He must have been raised by a strong loving mother! I know it was probably as hard or harder for you to see him be wheeled into surgery so many times. Can't wait to see you again!
