Bordertowns within striking distance of El Paso
Myself and a small group of bikers are going go be exploring El Paso and the surrounding area. Theres lots of good info on El Paso and New Mexico but I'm interested in any border towns within a 4 hour ride even if they are small.
I have all of the info for places that are sure things but are there any regular towns where the hunting might be good even if they are smaller border towns?
We are pretty adventurous so any help would be greatly appreciated. We want to explore but also dont want to waste our time on a town where there is absolutely nothing going on.

Thats sad. We were going to head to Nogales at least but maybe not.
Dont want to just run to the massage place every day...would like to at least find some strip clubs or regular bars where bar flys might hang out. Do such places exist?

Info here
Hey, J-town has a lot to offer other than the MPs.
It has several SCs in different classes.
They havethe current fancy-new-upScale Eclipse, Amadeus, Jokers, Wonderland.
I've been to all of them and you can find all kind of services.
You can also hit a 'barra' which is a Bar with pretty waitreses who sit and chat with you.
Museo( across fron Eclipse) , LuckyBar, Moscow, etc.

Cool, thanks. I was beginning to think that it was not worth going across but it appears that it still is. Are these places all in the same vicinity as you go across?

Beware, no it sure if you mean border towns near the border or towns in Mexico within 4 hours of Juarez. While Juarez is relatively safe, the road just outside Juarez leading into Mexico, are some of the most dangerous in all of Mexico. Bandits, corrupt police, narcos, all own those roads south of Juarez. I have family that used to frequent those roads quite often who now avoid those roads at all costs, they add 4 hours to their road trip just to avoid the area.

Thanks much. ID like to one day travel within mexico but now doesnt seem to be the time for sure. We'll just be coming across from Texas and Arizona and not wandering far from the border.

I have to disagree with Haymitch. I travel from Elp to Chihuahua and as far as 6 hours southwest and the roads suck for sure, but it is not the disolate lands he discribes
