Gosh, a friend and I were discussing this very subject yesterday while having lunch. Nails and eyebrows. I thought it was some type of social or cultural thing.

My friend suggested that women do this because they find it attractive. Probably goes hand in hand with the faces some ladies make, etc. It's just not very flattering and isn't very tasteful overall.

I DO find it hard to believe that ladies will have their eyebrows WAXED or shaved to accomplish this.

I had a friend in high school who did this. She felt her eyebrows were too low over her eyes so she **PUT** them higher up in her forehead where she wanted them LOL! It's a cheap eyebrow lift.
