California mulls 'text tax' on mobile messages

			https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/mark...ges/ar-BBQRu3a
The DPST (Democrat Progressive Socialist Totalitarian) state of Kalifornia has an insatiable thirst for it's residents money.
Now planning to tax SMS communication
Next - all residents will wear a monitor and be taxed on their verbal communication.
And - the air they breathe- because it is supplied courtesy of the State.
Venezuela- it is an object lesson unknown in Kalifornia

Well, they'll tax you when you're trying to be so goodThey'll tax you just like they said they would
They'll tax you when you're trying to go home
And they'll tax you when you're there all alone
But I would not feel so all alone
 Everybody must get taxed

 Thank You Bob Dylan

I heard they also want to make it retroactive by going back several years.

Maybe all of the parents with teen age daughters could bring a class action to block this.
Can you amagine what the bill would be with a Familly containing multiple teen daughters.

Let me tell you how it will beThere's one for you, nineteen for me
'Cause I'm the taxman, yeah, I'm the taxman

Should five per cent appear too small
Be thankful I don't take it all
'Cause I'm the taxman, yeah I'm the taxman

If you drive a car, I'll tax the street,
If you try to sit, I'll tax your seat.
If you get too cold I'll tax the heat,
If you take a walk, I'll tax your feet.

Don't ask me what I want it for
If you don't want to pay some more
'Cause I'm the taxman, yeah, I'm the taxman

Now my advice for those who die
Declare the pennies on your eyes
'Cause I'm the taxman, yeah, I'm the taxman
And you're working for no one but me

 Thank you George Harrison.

TDL = you are correct - includes a 5 year retroactive taxWill be a huge bill for those with teenage daughters.

Kalifornia is currently the world's 4-5th largest economy = due to tech and Hollywood.
State Leaders will drive the State to the same fate as Venezuela and Nicaragua.

California has the worlds 5th biggest economy in the world. They have never gone bankrupt. They need to make up some money due to this big "tax cut". Thanks for clarifying DPST. No such organization exists. Sounds like right wing propaganda on your part. Fake news

California is a great place to live only because of the weather. Everything else about the place sucks.

No natural features come to mind? Mountains? Yosemite? The ocean? Women? Skiing? Redwoods? Bummer for you
And yet another dip in the graph.

Those are all wonderful. But people can’t afford to live there. That’s why Companies and people are moving out. Apple is building their new campus in Austin. Which is becoming Silicon Valley east. Yet, another dip in the graph.
