Wow what a lot of things to speak well of us.......................we don't fund the arts anymore and are for the moment the only State where you can't get an abortion.

This is what you get when you support conservative, right wing, religious zealots falling and tripping all over their asses to please the Tea Baggerz, and keep those nasty illegal immigrants from voting in double digit numbers.

It is what you all voted for right? What you wanted them to pursue legislatively?

Welcome to 195fucking9 you morons

You have a thing for 1959 don't you. Is it because it is the year that Hawaii became a state and if only it hadn't become a state then Obama won't be president? So I guess it is some deep seated emotional resentment that Obama is president though you won't admit that.

Gee, I kind of like it that I can support the arts I like with my own money, and not be forced to fund "art" I don't. The ability to spend my money how I want, without it being taken from me to spend on things I don't want, I guess that is freedom.

What is wrong with making sure voters are citizens? I still don't get that.

I don't know about the status of abortion, and I honestly don't really care. As long as I am not forced to pay for it, let them do what they want.

Arts and abortion. Ok, let's get to the "B's".

At the risk of being accused of being Cute Old Guy I agree with him. I have to say I am being curious about this Galt character. I wonder why Catnipdipper follows him so closely? Could it be love? The old bad boy thing. I'm starting to think that maybe CND is a female of the species. Can anyone vouch for him?

Can anyone vouch for you. He has been around a lot longer than you have. Oh and the Galt he is talking about is not Galt + 1, but then you knew that right John.

Default not in the least way...............

Galt/Deacon/Barleycorn/Dumbass....are you clever enough to try to divert attention to me.

Everyone knows I am an African American homosexual that likes to do old bigoted white boys that drive pickup trucks and claim to be navy veterans and 20 year college students. In your case I would be doing 3 of you at the same time.

Great art does not need tax dollars to support it. If it is good, then someone out there will buy it.

If someone is illegal, they have no business voting in our elections.

What do you mean you can't get an abortion in Kansas? When did this change?

And again, the Tea Party stands for limited gov't, fiscal responsibility, and lower taxes. Please explain why these are such terrible principles.

You're asking Dippy to actually articulate something coherent. Ain't gonna happen, love.

Default Kansas

I am going to celebrate my country this weekend. Not my state which I feel has come under a regime where the leaders address each other for example like Herr Kobach or Herr Brownback. The little sign or sticker Jude or at the least the Spanish equivalent is not far behind us.

Planned Parenthood got a reprieve this morning so 1 of 3 Abortion Clinics got licensed or else none would have been approved and anyone needing an abortion would have to drive to Columbia, Mo.

If I recall there might have been fewer than 10 examples of people trying to vote illegally over the last decade but Kobach needs some conservative creds for his future so now we show a photo I.D. when it was a non issue to begin with. Clubbing puppies with a telephone pole.

The beloved Tea Party got hijacked. The Fiscals ran point for the Socials who hid behind the facade and then you get the shit like they passed in Kansas.

Arts funding including helping small communities put on plays and art shows that they otherwise would not have access to.

Ya'll celebrate what you want. As a veteran I am going to visit my father a veteran to and we are going to hang out this weekend and celebrate the things we are proud of. Like being Democrats, former union members and loving our country and the feeling that we could do as well as and have just as many opportunities as those with more, if we just worked hard at it.

Our Forefathers came here on ships from Germany in 1851 to avoid the heavy handed oppressions after the European Revolutions in 1848.

I used to have a more benign inclusive attitude and for some reasons since the last election cycle I just don't feel that way anymore.

So I say to you celebrate America and fuck the conservatives!

The conservatives are trying to save our country. It is our country and not just yours. There was an election and I take it you lost. That is democracy though our country is a representative republic which guarantees the rights of the minority (political minority, not racial). Go out and win an election and you can do what you will within the limits of the constitution. I suppose you have a right to complain but understand exactly what you are complaining about. You lost an election. Get over it.
