Ok...I will speak up...MOST ladies do NOT like our hair played with especially if we have other stuff going on after our appt. Some do not wash their hair every day as it dries it out. Some may have hair that gets oily easily. I have naturally curly hair and if my hair is messed with too much it gets frizzy and even more out of control. I do not mind a little touching, but do NOT pet me like a dog. It makes me cringe. However, if you want to hold my hair while I am paying attention to junior, please do.

I don't even like my hairdresser to comb out my hair.
