Is it the old fart in me or... (emoji's in threads)
Is it just the old fart in me, or has there been some sort of emoji explosion in the Weekly Update thread? It had been a while since I looked, so I was taken somewhat by surprise a few weeks ago when the page seem filled with them.
Are emojis all the rage now, and I missed a memo?
Almost feel obligated to throw a bunch of them here at the end, but I won't.

A lot of new providers who would have posted in Backpage in the past are now posting here on ECCIE. Other providers are migrating to ECCIE from sites like listcrawler, escort babylon etc. and posting ads as if they're still in those other sites.

You are showing your age. The younger generation is very comfortable with emojis and can carry on entire conversations. Seen it. Probably could never pull it off which shows my generation. LOL. If you want to hang out with a younger crowd you gotta let them be themselves. Hopefully they will let you be you too.

I don't mind them it sprinkles some color to the 🐂 (bull) 💩 (sh!+) on some of the ads no offense to anyone. My opinion ads should have recent pictures, donation, available time, general location and the items NOT offer just my 2¢

Girls on backpage used to use the special characters and weird capitalization to try and trick the automated LE search engines. But all of that is a waste of time. They have lots of resources to programmatically filter through all that garbage.

Eccie doesn’t allow us to put rates nor the items in our ads anymore or else we would likely be doing it .
