Olympics!?
What do you watch? And why?
I watch women’s gymnastics and beach volleyball for the eye candy and incredible athleticism. Surprised the VB girls are wearing bikinis in the metoo era but nice to see athletic bodies.
I also enjoy the track and field stuff….mainly sprints.
Maybe I’m a sucker but I do fall for the feel good stuff also.
Sports at its purist….or as close as we can get.

I have a family member that is into women's gymnastics as a teenager. So watching that for a few years and watching the pro's now, wow. No kid that I ever watched can do a 3 1/2 flip of any kind.
I feel sorry for Simone Biles after training so hard to get where she is for so long. I can't imagine what it would be like to be a super star and to lose it where she can't preform. She is super and I stand behind her.
I watch the girls volleyball a, some archery, some swimming. I have caught myself watching more of the Olympics this time than ever. I can't stand baseball anymore and can't wait for football.

Olympics?
What olympics?
Seriously, its been ruined by being woke, and the players seeing themselves as more important than the rest of the team.
As for Biles, one thing, if she was a privileged "White" athlete, they would have been calling for her head, and asking why she didn't let someone of color have her spot.
And, she choked, in tough times, you push through that shit, and do your best, that's the indication of a real champion.
The media created the legend, the media pushed the legend, and the legend, left them down, all to push for more viewers, more sponsors, and more money, bottom line.
But don't listen to me, just look at the viewership, and the lack of people turning it on, just like the NFL, the NBA, and any other organization that bows to the ilk of BLM, and its like.

I go back and forth with Simone Biles. Mental health is a very real thing and it can affect you physically. But controlling that is a huge part of athletics at that level.
On a good note, Canada has a smoking hot beach volleyball player!

Yeah, same thoughts on Biles. I guess she has the gymnastics version of "yips" which is dangerous as hell in gymnastics. Happens sometimes too. So, I get not wanting to compete and lose and possibly get seriously hurt. Let the next girl up take your spot and have a shot at winning. The other part of me is she owes to her team and herself to be prepared. It's an interesting conversation. I will say she her sideline (or gymnastics equivalent) presence is golden.
For me - I watch mostly soccer, wrestling, and rugby. I'll stare in fascination at stuff like table tennis, too.

Found myself watching women's diving last week, those bathing suits were showing a hell of a lot of cute ass. Agree that the Wilkerson girl on Canadian beach volleyball is hot.

I don't know if this was the current events or not, but I saw a bear of a man deadlift 1200lbs until his eyes and nose started to bleed... because of the blood pressure. Christ that is a monster.

Some of you guys might be Donald Downers says Mr. Obvious. Sheesh.
I watch things that feel good. Mykala Skinner is a great example. First she's in, then out, then in because of Bile's withdrawal, then medals. Great story! I'll never watch anything Megan Reponoe does....so women's soccer is definitely out. The swimmers are generally true amatuers so they get my attention. And I agree about the womens diving. Some great asses there.
Don't know if anyone caught the Cuban womens beach volleyball team. They had two beautiful black stallions on their team!
saw a girl yesterday get tripped in fell in the 1500 qualifier. Got back up and caught up with everyone to qualify for the finals. Good stuff.

No matter what you feel about this, I agree that her attitude after pulling out has been amazing.
I saw the blonde girl(Jade carey) from US almost did the same thing. She ran towards the vault and just completely lost her steps and practically did nothing. Lot of pressure.
