Default steelers 2025 qb???

so who will they keep? wilson or fields?

here is an article on how some view the meltdown of the steelers

https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/oth...8c0d7fcc&ei=73

https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/oth...a0cf2f34&ei=42

I for one, agree with this article and the fact the oline got shittier as the season went on. wilson had little time in the pocket in the final 5 games, constantly getting pressured and as the article notes, the play calling was shit

who should they keep? if they feel the oline will improve with the 2 starters who were gone by game two to injury, then my vote is for wilson. much better passer, better field general but he needs a good oline

if the oline remains crappy, then fields is the way to go. he can run like a chicken until of coarse he gets eventually injured from running for his life

Rumor has it Russ and Arthur Smith don’t get along.

The root cause is when Russ had that outstanding game vs the Bengals (400 yards 3 TDs) as Russ was calling too many audibles and did a couple things on the fly.

Not the Steeler way. Wow.

Russ is better than Fields. Neither is the answer. Draft a QB, have Russ prep the new kid

Hell froze over again, I agree.

Problem is, nothing will be left in the draft, gotta find another Big Ben, sleeper.

And I don't know if the Kneelers have anyone capable of spotting one, too long since we've seen champion picks.

I heard this also….it shows our stupidity with modern football. Instead of using Wilson’s experience we shut him down and go back to grind it out football.
I sent Rooney an email. That’s all we can do.

Yep. Russ’s experience was able to produce the best offensive game of the year and he got his wrist slapped for it.

Personally, can’t stand the Steelers offensive philosophy after Todd Haley left. Randy Fichtner, Canada and Artie mustache. I might be missing somebody but all painful to watch.

Guys, we labor under the delusion they actually want to win.

Have you considered they want to be meaningless?

It's also being said that this story came from Wilson's camp. The "It wasn't my fault" defense.

I say roll with Fields and draft a QB day 3. If they stink, hopefully you're close enough to the top of the draft to pick or trade up to pick a top QB next year.

Maybe the Ohio State kid. Then hoping Tomlin can draft and develop a QB.

I heard that also…maybe truth is somewhere in the middle? We went conservative again after the first Cincy game.

... Can we discuss Steelers 2022 Quarterback??
The First Round number #1 selection - who in his third
season has WON a Super Bowl. ...

... No doubt Kenny is thanking Mike Tomlin right now...

Oh, and Pickett is 'appy as a tart where he is.
Not Interested in being the Steeler's 2025 starter.

Now Salty, there were reasons to draft Pickett that none of us will ever be aware of.

But every now and then if a clean local kid gets a chance to be a star, it's an Audie Murphy movie waiting to happen.

This one didnt.

Failed diversity = dump hopes on a local white kid to save the day, when neither the kid and the team ever read the same script.

Another failed DM clone, iykyk.
