In Newfoundland they see the Mounties as Stormtroopers.
A poor as shit place once you're out of the city.
If they get caught poaching for example, they seize anything and everything in the hunters possession, rifle, truck, 6 wheeler, all seized.
After conviction, all of that stuff is forfeit to "The Crown".
The Q or K in England.

I’m guessing that’s where their tax dollars are going too.

I own a fair amount of Canadian Maples. The sovereign silver coin of Canada. The Maple side is beautiful, the reverse side had Queen Elizabeth on the older ones, King Charles on the newer ones. Ruins the coin. But hey, they’ll be our 51st state soon. Trump will be on the reverse side. Or maybe Gretzky!!!!!
BAHAHAHA

Canada and Australia both recognize the King of England as their (figurative) head of state. This is why the King and Queen are on Canadian and Australian money. They also share many laws, policies and culture with England.
Though if you're beginning to question Canada's sovereignty, you can't forgot Australia! I'm sure Salty could explain how the land down under is a sovereign nation just as much as Canada.
Though I'm sure that most of us knew that - we've gotten can Canada coins in our change by mistake. Surely you had noticed that the King, then the Queen, now the King are on their monies. I'm sure your brain cells fired at one point in the past 50 years 'why is the Queen of England on Canada money!?' and not wait for MSM to put the question in your head. I'm sure. I hope!

I know all about Australia. I have Kangaroos too. The King is on the reverse side. They also had the most onerous Covid restrictions in the world. But the thread topic is Canada Owbie. They’re bitching about being a sovereign state but the kneel to a King or Queen from another country.

Yes, they bend the knee to the King or Queen of England.
Just like Australia.
So why are your panties in a jumble about Canada? They ARE a sovereign nation. Or are you trying to argue that they aren't, because they bend the knee to England? Just like Australia?

Wrong Mr Gristle. The Royal Canadian mint refines their Silver to 9999 pure. The American Eagle is 3 9s pure. It doesn’t add to the value, it makes for a shiney finish.

My “panties” aren’t in a bunch. Canada’s are. They say they’re sovereign but pledge allegiance to some fraud who sits on a throne in England.

SpectrAcer is used to ensure 100% purity. I expect nothing less from a top export of a sovereign nation with higher standards than the U.S.
It's why the USDA adopted their grading schema
And they don't follow the U.K. schema
