Stay away from anything sketchy or illegal- drugs, unregulated streetwalkers, shady "gentlemen's clubs"- stay out of alleys and you'll be fine in BHF.

Unlike certain parts of any American city, you're highly unlikely to be a "wrong place, wrong time" victim of crime.
