The Trump administration'sDepartment of Homeland Security (DHS) is ending temporary protection status (TPS) for roughly 520,000 Haitians currently residing in the US.

Luckily, while some were on TPS, others were on a different form of Humanitarian Parole. These folks have known the deadline was coming and that their time in the U.S. was temporary.

Others had valid asylum claims.

Many were refugees, with a path to permanent residency.

So, despite this there will still be many Hatians and other immigrants in Charleroi. Well, until the rest of the jobs dry up. Can't blame them for that.

Now since we know some will stay... how many Hatians do you guys think will be leaving Charleroi? 500? 1k? 2k?

Sorry. My money is the Haitians will still be heading home. And why not it’s a wonderful place to live. Nice beaches, nice weather.

Based on your logic we should let anybody and everybody come to the US. No thanks. This is not the path to a prosperous and leading nation.

Noem also has to follow the law. If she wants to terminate TPS, she just needs to do it the right way and within the authority of her office. And to follow any relevant court orders without trying to skip steps or cut corners.
