Default NY Democrat Steals $64.8 billion

OK, I may be exaggerating. By the time the bankruptcy trustee was finished, Madoff's investors "only" lost $18 billion.

It reads like a who's who of liberal Democrats: Clinton, Corzine, Dodd, Schumer, Kerry, Markey, Rangel, Bradley, Lautenberg ... and yes, even Obama.

And what they all have in common is Bernard Madoff and his company of lies.

In fact, the disgraced one-time Nasdaq boss and founder of an investment firm that authorities say brokered one of the biggest Ponzi schemes in Wall Street history also liberally sprinkled a portion of his allegedly ill-gotten billions to help further the political fortunes of his favorite candidates and their campaigns -- it appears to the tune of more than $400,000.

Not political. Seems more like a tit for tat thread in response to the GA thread.

Is there something new and relevant about Madoff?

Please try again. Or not.

You're saying political contributions aren't political? Then you believe Vitaman's thread is not political too?

Sure as shooting if I posted about Democratic Party donors in his thread he'd say I was off topic. And from my 10 second look, that's what Edwin Brant Frost IV was, a Republican Party donor, not an elected official.

Or if you're referring specifically to Sam Bankman Fried,

Bankman-Fried contributed more than $70 million to election campaigns in less than 18 months, placing him among the nation’s top political donors. He personally gave at least $40 million to politicians and political action committees ahead of the 2022 midterm elections, mostly to Democrats and liberal-leaning groups, making him the second overall top donor to Democrats, only behind George Soros, according to the Center for Responsive Politics.

That big fat stacy abrams scammed a billion bucks from the government. She is also an election denier.

I'm sure the righties will jump on that while ignoring the fact that the government departments that look out for consumers for such schemes has been gutted by their own.

It is as relevant as anything you have ever posted. This thread is about dems stealing money.

Hope this assists:

Brant Frost V, who worked as a principal at First Liberty, is a former vice-chair of the Georgia GOP. That is why my thread is political, and your tit for tat thread is not. It should probably go to the Sandbox.

Maybe everyone can wait till Salty finishes his investigation. He is probably in GA right now.

Glad you're coming around.

Yes, the reason I started this thread was because of Vitaman's thread.

The rest of this post is not directed at you.

Do you gentlemen, regardless of party identity, actually believe your side is clean and pristine and the rest are huge crooks? Well, as OralLvr69 and Levianon both pointed out, there are plenty of crooks to go around in both parties, both the politicians and the high dollar donors.

Americans need to get down on their knees, pray, and love their brothers and sisters, regardless of race, color, creed or party affiliation. Otherwise Wang Huning's predictions for the USA will come true. They're already starting to. Wang is a Chinese Henry Kissinger, who's advised every top Chinese leader for the last 30 years. He predicted years ago that a breakdown between Democrats and Republicans, blacks and whites, liberals and conservatives, etc. would tear the the USA apart. If America doesn't bridge the extreme partisan gaps that exist today, his predictions will come true. And China will be the world's sole economic and military superpower.

The alleged fraudster's son was the former 2nd vice chair of the state Republican Party. Apparently the fraudster's sin, in the eyes of Democrats, was donating to Republicans and serving as state director for Pat Robertson during his run for president.

While the son is employed at First Liberty, he's not a defendant in the SEC's action. His father is.

There's a long list of Democrats (and Republicans) who've committed fraud and received prison sentences. Democrat politicians and fundraisers who ran Ponzi schemes include Norman Hsu, Charlie Uresti, Edward Mezvinsky, and Gerald McCann.

Do you believe political threads that run counter to your ideology should go to the sandbox? Why is that? So fewer people will read the posts?

That's actually not the topic of this thread. It may be what you think the OP wrote, but that's not what he actually wrote. So no, you're wrong.

Shirley you can find other instances of "dems stealing money" since 2008. Hell I can. I can also find instances of Republicans stealing money NOW.

As far as using ill-gotten gains to fund political campaigns (or for that matter using political campaigns to line their pockets) - yeah, NOBODY does that! LOL! I bet you don't need AI to Google that for you. Again, not 17 years ago, but in recent days.

So why are we talking about Bernie f'ng Madoff?

This thread is stale bread and you know it.

Try not to get so huffy, bud. Please and thank you.

You don't know my ideology. You know my dislike for Trump and his practices. There would be fewer readers if your thread went to the Sandbox. Just like many of your threads. Is that why you are butthurt ?

Saw this post by you. Sounds like you are permanently butthurt: "And be nice to VitaMan, he calls the shots around here."

Both political parties have crooks. I don't why you bring up Madoff and Sam.

Some posters here slant all their threads about crooks to elected democrats and want you to believe MAGAs are pure and holy.
