These things don’t exist in a vacuum. If you are a consumer in an illegal business the business literally exists in part because sure of you. There is no trafficking without the voracious appetite of guys.

Up our neck of the world, most everyone does have their correct paperwork "business licenses" and they are US Cits.

However, where the feds are coming from is a blanket approach due to what they have found in Texas. Border jumpers working in the industry with no visa's etc. That is flat out trafficking and is why the feds are looking around elsewhere. And btw, a couple of my old hotels were "visited", but no one was pulled as those places all had correct paperwork for the few legally sponsored folks and the rest were actual US Cits. I was told that mumblings of "waste of time" were heard from the uniforms that thought there was a big thing occurring.
