Just a Bad Feeling?
Do you ever just get that bad feeling about an appointment? Whether you're a client or provider? I sometimes get that gut feeling that something is very wrong with client. I am getting that feeling right now. I don't want to be mean to the poor guy if he's being honest but my gut is screaming at me to cancel the appointment. He's new to eccie and from another state. It's just the way he said certain things that made me uneasy. I will probably cancel the appointment. I have kiddos and I can't chance it.
Then I got told that there is LE on the board with premium access. Why in the world would they go through all that trouble when there are people out there killing, stealing, and truly hurting each other. I mean..really? Go get the real bad guys.
I am extremely anxious today. Sigh. I don't like this feeling. I'm going to take a nice hot shower to ease my mind.

Yes Malaya, Dude's right. Whenever I go against my first intuition I live to regret it.

I always go with my gut feeling for any type of decision I make whether it be on this board or anywhere else. Call or text the guy to cancel, and he will probably appreciate that you edid not ncns him.

Trust your feelings. The worst that happens is you lose the money from the appointment. If you do not trust your gut the worst that happens could be jail. Not a complex decision. If he is from another state you are only losing on what would probably be a one time event anyway.

You are receiving much good encouragement here. Cancel the appointment politely and gently--and without regret.
May I also suggest you explain, circumspectly, why you are cancelling? If he is legitimate you have expressed concern for his feelings. In that case, you would do well to brief him on his behavior that made you uncomfortable. Others may disagree with me on this point and your own judgment of course is key, but I would sure want to know if I had done anything to cause you to be uncomfortable.
But at a minimum, cancel without regret.
