Question Best Restaurants in San Antonio?

What restaurants would you say are the best? I'm trying to find places like old fashion burgers and pizza. I've heard about Kennedy's and can't wait to try it out.

If you are looking for burgers i would have to say that you must try Chris Madrid's on Blanco just north of downtown or the cove just off of San Pedro near SAC.

Kennedy's is very good if you like Chicago style pizza. For burgers, I like Five Guys and also Cheesy Jane's.

Been wanting to try the Lords Kitchen.

I like the down home style of SA Burger by 410/35 by the old Century South theatre.

For burgers, I enjoy...

Chester's
Bunsen Burgers (They are on Walzem Road)
Whataburger (Yes, I enjoy Whataburger)

For Pizza...

Tank's Pizza (On North New Braunfels just south of Fort Sam)
Volarie's on Broadway in Alamo Heights

Porky's off of Culebra or 410 is good for a burger, but I hear Chris Madrid's is the best. Big Lou's Pizza has some good pizza, and a freaking monstrosity pizza which is 42" wide, and weighing many, many pounds!!!!

I have to say that I like Tycoon Flats for a good burger on St. Marys. Have not found a good pizza place yet, but I will check out some of the suggestions here

Jim's burgers taste mighty fine late at night after I have been out drinking. I like the char broiled flavor. Also fuddruckers is good.

I have to agree with Marcus, Porkys on Culebra for burgers, and Big Lous off WW White for pizza.

I agree, Tycoon Flats has really good burgers! Also, Fattboy Burgers and Dogs is really good, and cheap. Tons of free toppings.

And I like a Whatburger too in a pinch!
