Was wondering if anyone knew of some of the better rock/metal local bands? And venues as well.

Birth AD is pretty good local metal/punk band
And Emo's east is good place to catch 4-5 bands for 20 bucks.

They list pretty much every show in town. Red River area downtown is best for rock shows generally, as well as Emo's east.
