Default FDR Didn't Envision Social Security As It Is Now

Even he was smarter than that. It took politicians buying votes to turn it into the monstrosity it is today.

When Ida May Fuller got that first check she was not supposed to live for another 30 years but she did and five more years as well. It demonstrated the weakness of the FDR program.

Exclamation Complaining

Are you kidding?

The old geezers don't mind complaining about the system all day,

. . . but don't you dare cut one red cent out of their social security check!

Yup. I don't want one red nickel from the teet. I'll consider what I've paid into it a charity. Fuck you I'll pay my own way... And yours apparently.

Dove, no I will not. I turn 66 next year, and I plan on "retiring", in the sense that yes, I will start drawing my Social Security.

Of course, I am not actually going to retire, the morning of my 66th birthday, I hope to be exactly where I am right now, sitting in my office getting ready for the work day.

I am hoping the SS will help pay for my "Hobby" cost, even though I will give much of it right back to the Government in taxes. But, they won't take it all.

When did I ever say "Don't touch my social security"? You keep making things up, and then criticize the lies you say about me, and then congratulate yourself. What morons.

And exactly what do your stupid comments have to say about the original post? The point was this has grown into a bigger monster than FDR anticipated. You have nothing to say about that?

Kayla - God Bless You!

Actually, Marshall Fuckup, I'm making more money now than I ever have. Sorry to disappoint you. And I'd like to do Kayla because she is hot and smart, and at any price. Like I said, go gloat over someone else to give your pathetic life meaning.
