Default Dallas Sports Teams

The Cowboys teased you, the Stars just gave up, and now the Dallas Mavericks are on the roaps down 3-1 to San Antonio. The so called local experts had all ready penciled in the Rangers to take their division and make it to the playoffs. But the Rangers are dead last. So much for Dallas Sports teams again this year.

Turn out the lights the parties over.....

I feel your pain. I have been a Houston sports fan my entire life.

hey, the Rangers played the over priced Yankees 1,2 & 3 best pitchers and should have swept Cleveland but some flucky plays and should have won 2/3 against Boston but some rookie got hot. Billy Hunter is hurt, in the end the Rangers will be there

I must say I have faith in the Rangers. If they can get their bullpen issues resolved their starters look pretty damn good. And no one is running away with the division.

I am sad about the Mavericks. If they had made it to the conference finals I could see my Lakers here instead of trying to get to LA.

Oh well.

Mavs aren't done yet. They have two of the next three at home. If they win on Tuesday, the pressure shift to the Spurs in game 6.

Bob and Dan stat:

Only 8 teams have overcome a 3-1 deficit in the playoffs out of almost 180.

LMAO what a statement. The Mavericks imploded in game 4 and just checked it in. Yeah I am a Spurs fan and was at game 3 and 4 and the look on Cubans face was priceless. Anytime Duncan only scores 4 points and TP and Manu only score 27 between them and still win is huge. Dallas does not play any type of defense and are an up tempo team and the Spurs have relegated them to a half court offensive team and the Mavs do not hold a candle to the Spurs when it comes to this.

And Boltfan I would not be making plans too early about your Lakers as OKC is going to and is giving them all they can handle. Until the Lakers decide to get their heads out of their ass then this series is wide open.

This is why Jason Kidd needs to go. He can't guard like he use to .. it's sad to watch. Hell none of the Mavs guards can defend.

The Mavs are just too old. Until the Mavs get a big-time young shooting guard this team is just not good enough. I'm a big time Dirk fan, but if this is the last game tonight .. you got to take a hard look at keeping him also. I know I wouldn't give a max contract to him this summer .. and only 3 years at the most.

I used to like the Mavericks, but Cuban is an ass and yes the expression on his face was priceless. Wonder if the team wishes he hadn't let his alligator mouth overload his humming bird ass when he was talking about how "he hates the Spurs and he and the Spurs owner don't like each other" That was after game one and the Mavs haven't won since.

Jason Kidd could not guard his way out of a wet paper bag with both ends cut out and heck Dirk is not very far behind him. I will say one thing and that other than game 4 Dirk has literally killed the Spurs scoring wise and has made damn near everything that he threw up. But until he has others step up and add to the scoring stats like SA has been able to do then Dallas does not stand a chance. I fully expect Dallas to come out posessed tonight and probably take game 5 and then back to SA where we close them out and send Cuban back home with his tail tucked between his legs.

Oh OneHotMale,

What a short memory you have.

Lakers may be finding their way but until they lose at home I have no worries. Like it or not the Lakers are the team of the last decade. 6 Finals and 4 rings.

The dagger Fisher left in 2004 still pains you guys doesn't it?

I would have to disagree with that statement because the Spurs would still have a 3-2 lead in the series - in other words, the Mavs would still be facing elimination so the pressure would still be on the Mavs.

If the series does go to a game 7, then the pressure would be on the Spurs because if the Spurs lost, people would be asking "How in the hell did you lose a series where you lead 3-1?"

Same old Boltfan I see. Lets just see weren't you the one too damn afraid to make it to SA and put your wager down? Just as I thought you are still living in the past. I have an idea if your boys get by the Thunder then their road to the finals will just get that much harder. But alas I doubt that your guys will make it that far. I have an idea that Durant and his merry bunch may just pull the upset. And yeah Fisher may have made that shot but he seems to be playing that matador defense now days. Never seen a guard get to the rim as often as the OKC guards are getting it done.

Ummm, no I went to game 5 that year in full gear to show my pride and offered to anyone to meet at said game to buy them a beer. No takers. Fisher hit the shot and stabbed you Spurs in the heart. Walked out of there with a beer soaked Lakers shirt and a smile on my face.

I offered the bet UP FRONT before the series began. No one would take the bet. THEN when the Spurs won a game everyone wanted to bet. Nice fans, only willing to bet after you get a win under your belt.

The past is the Spur's rings. The Lakers are defending champs.

Well, we get to see who the pressure is on now that the Mavs mopped up the floor with the Spurs in Game 5. I still say SA has to be nervous. They had a chance to close out a team that was down and choked. Now the Mavs have life, got one game to go their way with tempo, and should be loaded for bear Thursday night.
