I dont know of many places in the nation where the age of consent is 15. So Obamacare basically makes a 15 yearold girl capable of giving consent. Something is very wrong here.

So let me see; a 15 year old gets sterilized and we get to pay for it. Now she can fuck all whe wants till she is say 25 and decides to have children so we pay to have the sterilization reversed.

I think there are few more differences between America and Mexico than abortion.

And this thread is about more than abortion, it is about girls 15 years old or even younger deciding on permanent sterilization without parental consent. Obama and the Democrats in Congress favored this. No one finds that disturbing?

I think parents should have authority over their kids except in the matter of having babies.

I don't think any parent should force their kids to have babies they don't want.

I don't care how young the kid might be, no parent should force their kid to have a baby the kid doesn't want.

When a kid becomes pregnant they are a parent themselves, and the normal authority of the kid's parents becomes moot.

If a minor child becomes a parent it isn't the baby's grandparents who assume control over it....it is the minor child who is now the parent. The law recognizes the authority of the minor child over it's offspring.

That's the American way.

btw Mexico actually has abortion but it's almost never used because of cultural reasons.

There's more to the issue than just having babies. There are the health consequences, and the idea the government can interfere with the parent-child relationship. A fifteen year old cannot drink, cannot vote, in many states cannot drive, cannot contract, among other things. We presume to allow her to make a choice with lifelong consequences without the consent of those who love her most and have her best interests at heart? You would replace that government?
