Default circumsized or not

question to the ladies. Does it feel different or bother you if a man is circumsized or not. Does it gross you out or anything like that. Just curious on your take. any takes on this would greatly help. I ask this because I am thinking about whether or not to circumsize my son when he is born.

I prefer uncircumcised and in all honestly I am against circumcision. I have several helpful links with great information. Let your son make the decision when he's an adult. It's a purely cosmetic surgery that is extremely painful. Imagine sticking a knife under your finger nail to separate it from your skin. Then cutting it off. No medical association in the WORLD recommends it. It was started (on non Jewish boys) to help stop masturbating (or so they thought). I have the complete history on it. I even have a video of it. If you can't bear to watch it then I suggest not putting your son through it. I made the horrible mistake of circumcising my first two boys. I saw them do it to my second and it scarred me for life. It was horrible. His screaming was horrible. Although some babies don't scream but it's because they go into shock. They have tested the babies stress levels and show that they are considerably high after circumcision. My third son was a home water birth with a midwife and he was not circumcised. I will never circumcise or recommend it.

Malaya, they put you under during this procedure as an adult (general anasthetic). I know because I was circumcised four years ago. I personally wish my parents would have done this when I was an infant. It is less likely to have complications and you heal faster.

I enjoy being circumsised. My penis is cleaner than before. The real reason why I went under the knife, was because I had issues climaxing before I was circumsised. The foreskin would fail to ride up and expose the glande. Even when having unprotected sex with an SO, it would take me FOR EVER to climax. I would pound away until she resembled Hamburger Helper. Not a pretty sight.

Feel free to PM me if you guys have any questions on the subject.

I'm not saying that everyone would have this problem, but I would recommend doing it. If I have a son, I will have him circumsised.

My ex went through the same procedure a few years ago although he agrees with me. He would NEVER want to put his infant baby through so much pain when they only give baby tylenol. They barely numb it and if it's painful for you then why would you put a small infant through that? Plus your skin was probably unable to fully retract because parents back then thought you were supposed to force retraction to clean under the skin. That is completely wrong and causes scar tissue on the foreskin. Causing you to lose feeling and making it difficult to retract. My ex had the SAME issue. The foreskin actually makes you MORE sensitive to sex. And that is medically proven. Why are we performing cosmetic surgery on our small infant children that cannot have adequate pain medicine just because we want them to "look good or enjoy sex". Trust me. Uncircumcised men enjoy sex just fine. I can also provide links that medically prove that the foreskin makes the penis MORE sensitive. Do NOT ever retract a baby's foreskin. It is attached to the head of the penis and will cause serious scarring. It is not "cleaner" because there is NO way for bacteria, dirt, or anything else to get in there because again the foreskin is attached to the head of the penis until they are much older. And it is very easy to teach them how to clean it. Putting so much stress on an infant can cause several issues and I also have links for that. Let me know and I'd be happy to provide MEDICAL links to back up EVERYTHING I have said.

That makes so much sense Malaya. I thought I was a freak when I was young cause it didn't go back all the way. Thank goodness for the internets and Wikipedia. Now if I can only find that first girl who tried to pull the skin back all the way on my shvantz when we were young and let her know it's supposed to be that way.

"Male circumcision provides only partial protection, and therefore should be only one element of a comprehensive HIV prevention package which includes: the provision of HIV testing and counseling services; treatment for sexually transmitted infections; the promotion of safer sex practices; the provision of male and female condoms and promotion of their correct and consistent use."

Only three studies have shown that. Several others were done without the same results. So that is a maybe. Also you need to teach your child to use protection at all times..circumcised or not. I still say leave the decision up to your son. Don't put a tiny infant through so much pain. Let him make the choice. It's his body.

I would like to know what the rest of the circumsised and uncircumsised male population has to say about this. Has it affected you? How do you feel about your cut/uncut penis?

My son is 4 and is circumsized. He had had issues with the skin around his crown of his penis reconnecting. It starts to fuse together and has to be pulled apart which is excruciatingly painful for him, I hate it. He is still having this issue and he was circumcised as an infant. I worry he will have sort of neurosis later in life from this.

Same with my second son. It's a complication that can happen with a circumcision when it's not done correctly. It's pretty common.
