Smile Insanity

I officially did my first Insanity workout today and oh my goodness!!! It kicked my ass! I am really interested in changing my lifestyle so I can be healthier all around. Does anyone have any tips or words of wisdom for this new found health nut?

Yes. I have been told that it is more intense that p90x. I looked at both of them and decided on Insanity

I have done both programs...still do.
Insanity is more Cardio oriented; P90X is more weight training with some cardio and Yoga. It's a more all-around workout with more routines than Insanity but you can't beat Insanity for developing a tight core and weight loss.

My best advice would be to stick with a healthy diet; it's a huge part of getting the results you want. Stuffing your face and eating junk food will wipe out your hard work. It's all about the calories.

They make another 30-day routine called Asylum...
Very appropriately named. Pretty much for pro athletes.

Stay with it, Leslie...would love to see your Before and After pics.

Oatmeal and fresh fruit for breakfast. For a snack while watching TV try Cheerios or one of the other high fiber oat cereals as a substitute for nachos or potato chips.

Thanks guys!! I got lucky because I like all of the healthy foods like oatmeal and berries. I heard that nutrition is 80% of it and working out is 20% of it. MY biggest problem will be eating correctly!!
